i a trying to learn the smelting like tin iron all the classic stuff but when i go to trainer all they teach is cataclysm stuff when i look in then unlearned tab on spell book it says taught by trainer i have been in Orgrimmar Stormwind Ironforge and none of the trainers have lower level smelting .
Where do I go now for it?
Try closer to the starter zones.
I know that you can get the lower level smelting in Silvermoon City, which is close to the Blood Elf starter zone, you could try Razor Hill as well.
For Alliance, try Goldshire instead of Stormwind.
Stupid comment - Did you scroll all the way to the bottom of the list that the trainer displayed? The Cata stuff is listed first, I think. So to see the old world stuff you have to scroll to the end.
yes i did scroll down but it starts at 150 with mithril no steel iron bronze or tin that’s what i am trying to find i had it on other toons

i tried the Kharagos gnome starting area where you first start but sane there
When you look on the trainer, do you have the “Available” box checked in the filter?
You need certain profession level points to learn specific smelting skills. Most likely you need to smelt and mine more to get your skills up so you can learn to smelt more classic stuffs (like silver).

well above the level to smelt them and i have checked the unavailable box and still doesn’t have them how ever i did find the trainer in Warspear had them I am going to try alliance side the warlords expansion
Not the “Unavailable” box. The “Available” box. If you had the skill level to learn them and somehow unchecked the “Available” box, the skills wouldn’t show up. You shouldn’t have to go to WoD to learn classic skills. They should be available to any mining trainer.
