Smaller raid size

So, last night we were missing a fair few from our raid team, so had to clear heroic with just 11 instead and all I gotta ask

Why is everything so much harder on a small raid team?

Heroic fyrakk went from easy 1 shot every week to actually wiping because the mechanics like don’t scale with size at all, spirits just die nearly instantly when they spawn from the passive AoE damage from their hp reduction as well, half the raid with seeds, same amount of lines

Like man, no wonder people complain about 10 man raiding, this sucks lol

This is exactly why they made Mythic with a set 20 and not flexing it nor making it a 10 or 20 person raid. SoO was the prime example. 10H was wayyy harder than 25H in SoO. I cleared it in both and can say 10 was a lot harder due to not having all the classes a 25 could bring so you could cheese so many bosses on the 25. So Blizzard realized it is just too hard to tune the hardest level raids to be the same for 10/25 let alone flex.

It feels sadistic, like man

I used to think they were just whining to whine, but nah they’re 100% justified

Way harder

They do but the bosses feel harder because one death is a much more significant % loss than in a big group, so you can’t carry dead weight as well.

Because on a smaller raid team EVERYONE has to do what they’re supposed to. No one can skip the mechanics. And that doesn’t jive with the current playstyle of “I’mma ignore everything and just go BRRRRRRRR since someone else will do it instead of me!”

Because if the situation was reversed and that smaller raid size was easier people wouldn’t make bigger groups. While smaller groups will always have the advantage of being easier to form.

I mean fyrakk spawns the same amount of adds, lines, circles, and seeds

So not really much scaling going on
