Small server and the AQ Gates... NEED help

I don’t wanna play on a streamer sever…HELP US BLIZZARD we have no one on our sever :frowning:

I don’t think y’all realize when Bpie said Low he meant to say Low AF. There’s a total of 80 horde players at level 60 on the Arcanite reaper with only one Horde raid group clearing BWL. Imagine not even having enough raiders to ensure a head drop every week.

Hilarious to see people with no understanding at all about game design. One of the biggest problems Blizzard faced on launch day, was mega-servers have insanely long queues. Even just a few months ago, this was a huge problem on servers like Herod and Whitemane. And when people complained about it, they were repeatedly told to pick a different server instead.

Well guess what. That’s exactly what OP and many others did. They listened to Blizzard, and instead of sitting in an overcrowded server, they moved to a smaller one. And by doing so, they got screwed by being stuck on what is now a dying server. Not to mention getting lectured by a bunch of blowhards about “choices and consequences”.

Guess what else? This is exactly why people are refusing to transfer off servers like Whitemane, despite it being massively overcrowded, and despite Blizzard offering free transfers and repeatedly pleading with players to do so. Everyone’s afraid that if they transfer off, they will be stuck in an awful situation like OP. So now you have a problem on both sides. The people on low-pop servers are having an awful experience. And the people on high-pop servers are so afraid of that happening to them, so they continue to sit in overcrowded servers.

This is why Blizzard needs to step in and actively address server issues. Merge the low-pop servers, so that they become medium-pop instead. Once they start doing that consistently, people are going to stop worrying about getting stranded on a dead server, and they will willingly transfer away from the overcrowded ones.

On the beneficial side, you won’t have so many people crowding Silithus that you will need Blizzard to teleport them out of the zone, or create duplicate instances of the zone. You will be able to farm for reputation and items a lot easier than the more crowded servers where Silithus will turn into a tagging war-zone as thousands of players all try to compete for quest items and MoBs.

Good and bad. Eventually, you will get the war effort to the opening stage on your server. And you won’t have to rage over not being able to play in Silithus due to overcrowding and Blizzard not limiting Classic servers to their original population capacities.

Thanks.

I suppose it would be important for me to clarify that I have been on this server since I picked the game back up, way back in October. First day home from work and saw a 3 hour que to get into whitemane and there was a free transfer available? I took it.

That’s actually not true. I chose to play a server that was offered to me when I was level 10 and just wanted to play when I got home from work one day. Nothing to do about access to anything or “easier” anything. In fact, when I transferred, I thought I might have made a big mistake. For a while, the population was healthy and stable. But overtime, the population decreased dramatically. Thanks for assuming though!

Funny enough, I started on whitemane too. They offered free transfers left and right and even though I hated it there I waited until paid transfers were available and moved to Pagle, a PVE server.

Seems like you have a lot of anger issues.

The magical 90 day policy that Blizzard put into place double screws you guys on the smaller servers.

No one with a scepter is going to risk coming over and some of those servers have issues with getting a single night BWL clear on either faction side…

HAHAHA.
No, it’s not, it’s 100% PLAYER created.
Players choose which faction and server to play on. Short of telling people what server and what faction they can play, Blizz can’t do anything about this.

So there’s threads complaining servers are too big and the AQ event is over too fast. And there’s threads complaining servers are too small and AQ quest will take forever.

Seems Blizz is screwed no matter what.

Nah… This is what happens on new servers. You will be low pop. There is a mechanic in game so the gates will eventually open for you. Don’t be mad at blizzard because you chose to play on that server.

Blizzard decided to make any server transferring person ineligible for scarab lord for 90 days, discouraging the tryhards who would transfer to that server just to get the title.

Of course they announced that 90 day lockout less than 30 days ago, classy of them. Of course I sever transferred about 40 days ago, so I’m ineligible to get the mount unless my server severely messes up…I don’t think they’re going to.

A blizz employee is unlikely to address your problems as they don’t really care about them. They want you to pay for a server transfer. Dying servers are good for short term sales, and classic seems designed as a short term cashgrab.

Because it is on the same sub as retail they probably don’t even consider the subscriptions as part of their classic income, they’re focused on the transfers.

sorry to tell you that but not only little servers will have an issue i am on bloodsail and the problem is more about the dumb classic playerbase who want to play like on retail…

heavy ally or heavy horde

in bloodsail 70 75 % ally

with all the compo stock horde side just did 10% of the war effort

no aq before minimum end of august in bloodsail worst case 2 monts

and i am sure player are too casual and assisted and will never creat any alt on horde for help they will just come to cry on blizzard server for to be carry by blizzard…

" Please blizzard carry us… please we are only little casual pu**y open aq gate for us  please blizzard help us  "

i know what i tolde is rude but its the truth…

Not a Blizzard created problem. In fact, it is not a problem at all. The gates open eventually everywhere. Give it a rest, it’s only a video game.

Yeah but it totally sucks for them. Can’t fault them for being bummed. All this new content coming out and they can’t access it due to population issues.

lol do you feel better about yourself? I’m not surprised you immediately turn to insults.

We knew what the turn-ins would be for 15 years. They had ample time to prepare.

Usually this is how you know you’ve hit the sweet spot. If there’s unhappy people on both sides, you’re probably right in the middle.
