so i have started boosting my toons on my mage through SM, with 3 other people so its a full 5 group. Issue is, my toon is only getting like 18k/hr according to titanpanel. I thought it was supposed to be more like 100k?
Does it get faster at higher levels? because my toons have been doing it since 20-24ish and it takes roughly 4 cath+arm runs to get a level which just feels like a lot?

Exp there is bad till 30ish. Really bad below 25.

Sm from there till 40
Mara till 52
Then ZG to 60.

What level are the other people you’re boosting? Make sure you’re the highest level (other than your mage of course) and you will get better exp from sm.
Try forming your group like this:
60 boost mage
Your alt
3 level 21s
You should get more exp/hour with this method than any other dungeon. Let us know the results!

That is 25% of a level for each run (of 2 instances) in SM. That is good.
It may get a bit better, but don’t expect 50% of a level from each run of 2. For me 35% (3 runs per level) is very good, on a character in the 26-35 range.

Also on BB, and yeah… if you even want to make gold you pretty much have to transfer the stuff to Alliance then transfer the money back across the neutral AH.

you get bonus exp for each person in the group, you lose exp for every 1 level of difference between your level and the mob your killing.
we dont want them either, you can keep your boosters and your problems contained right where they are

Not necessarily true. If it’s a tailor made group with a low average party level, mara will be more exp per reset than sm starting around 31/32.

Boosting takes work to be efficient. Arguably more than many other areas of the game.
Do you have a minimum XP per run? Mine is 20% of a level. Boosting takes time. If I’m making less than 20% per run, it’s almost as fast to solo grind, so I just do that instead.
Then again, I’m watching my gold. I’m boosting my highest character on the realm. Most of my characters (and gold) are on low-pop servers, where there are no boosts. Maybe if I was a level-60 with thousands, I’d boost no matter how slow it was.
