Ever since the pre-patch, the loading screen takes forever. Especially in legion dalaran. Also took forever for the NPC’s to load in. Going into the druid order hall wasn’t too bad. Had no trouble with the NPC’s loading, but the loading screen speed was just a tad slow.
I have everything updated, No FPS drops, No Latency. No spell delays. Not really sure what the problem could be. Any help would be appreciated.
Are you using an SSD hard drive or an old mechanical (normal) hard drive?
I think an HDD. Shadowlands requires 100GB of storage, and my SSD only has room for 80GB.
Same problem here. Key NPC’s in Boralas are delayed in appearing. Also my character can get “stuck” after landing at the flight master. After a delay I can move. And lastly I can encounter invisible barriers in Boralas when trying to fly to spots to turn in quests in town. I have tried the scan and repair option and also dumbing down the graphics lower than recommended quality.
I’m having these exact problems as well. Anyone know of a fix?
Sometimes a long load screen can mean issues with servers and/or internet. I know my load screens can get kind of long if I get on OCE groups late at night, but I’m east coast US.
The getting stuck landing from a flight path is tied to this because it can be when the server phases you into another shard. If it’s not that, then it usually means it’s a client desync, which still means connection or server problems.
