Slow load times with new game install

I bought a alienware area 51 laptop. I just finished the starting area, and am trying to load into stormwind. It is just hanging. Maybe I haven’t yet downloaded the files necessary to load stormwind?

Any suggestions? I’ve been sitting at the loading screen for stormwind for 10 minutes now.

First time might take a bit, but you finished the starting area, so likely not that. When you ran the launcher it fully installed? Not just to the point it allowed you to click play? If it’s not finished try letting it fully install first.
