Slippers of the woven dusk: cant choose stats?

Is it me or you cant customize stats on these?

Like you cant add a missive?

That is an item with an in-build embellishment? Yeah most of those you cannot specify the stats, fun would be detected otherwise.

well thats really dump, so you gotta dump your mats in it until you get the correct stat spread? Jesus

No, the stats are set. No randomization involved. Donā€™t go throwing mats for recrafts. Only in-build embellish items that have custom stats are the JC ones IIRC.

I dont get it then? The crafting says it has 2 random stats?

I think im misunderstanding this lol

Ok you got me intrigued and I went and checked them on the yet to learn list on my tailor. Random stats, embellish set and no missive slotā€¦ Yeah I will not waste a spark on that.

Now that the issue has been solved (they now give Haste and Versatility), has anyone tried to recraft these? There is an issue where it is impossible to obtain 4-star while recrafting, but possible to 4-star while creating a new Slippers. Sparks already been used so I canā€™t. (Iā€™m aiming to 4-Star so I can concentrate into 5-star).

For example, Iā€™m gaining the same amount of skill points for both Gloves and Footwear from Specializations, and I can recraft my Gloves of the Woven Dusk into 4-Star easily with good Mats, but Iā€™m so many skill points away to be able to recraft my Slippers of the Woven Dusk into 4-Star. Using 3-Star Mats and Everything!

And I calculate that no amount of Specialization points will get me there.

Can anyone with this Duskweave set confirm this?

This worry me since Iā€™m planning to use Enchanted Crests on this set during the season and Iā€™m going to be stuck with a low Slippers?

The set can be made at R5. They require you to also max out the generic gloves/feet from the threads of devotion.

Sorry I didnā€™t explain myself well.

I CAN do both gloves and feet to R5 from a First Craft, even without maxing Threads of Devotion, since I can reach R4 and use Concentrate to R5.

But for some reason, when I want to RECRAFT the Slippers (Feet), the skill required to reach R4 is much higher than the Gloves. And, if my calculations are correct, even maxing Threads of Devotion, Feet, and all Duskweave points, and wonā€™t be able to reach it.

Now Iā€™m stucked with the Slippers of the Woven Dusk at R3, unable to max it, Spark wasted too.

Wanted to see if anyone on this thread, with both Duskweave Gloves and Feet crafted, see a difference of skill required when RECRAFTING them?

Yes - Iā€™m having an issue with a blacksmithing craft; Iā€™ll link this post in the bug report forums.

Edit: OK, I think this isnā€™t a bug. I think this is the ā€˜hiddenā€™ R2 material tax from Dragonflight cropping up again. See my linked post in the bug report forums.

The initial craft is counted as a ā€œmaterialā€. Materials are worth 40% of the base difficulty

THANK YOU! I can confirm this now. I had to recraft the item twice, using R3 mats, until I was able to reach R5.

Slippers were initially crafted using low materials and reached R3.
Followed your post and I recrafted using R3 materials and it didnā€™t changed the quality. >Then I recrafted a second time using the same R3 materials and was able to reach R5.

Very weird bug, or ā€œhiddenā€ tax as you said. Itā€™s not explained in-game. Forces me to make every single first-craft in a future to use R3 materials, even if I know I wonā€™t be able to reach R5 at first with lower profession skill points.
