To be fair, they said “Complete the raid on any raid difficulty” and if you right click your face, Instance Options, Raid Difficulty: Normal, Heroic, Mythic. No LFR listed.
Then why is it always advertised under new raid releases as a difficulty then. If there were no mechanics whatsover, and every boss and trash mob was just tank and spank, maybe i would agree.
Just look at the sepulcher of the first ones raid on the front page.

Why is it listed on the front page of every bloody raid announcement as a bloody difficulty then. Wait, i don’t believe anything anymore remember.
As far as i am concerned, anything and everything is whatever everyone wants to believe it is. So if you believe it is not a difficulty. Good for you. I don’t even know what anything is anymore. It is all based on everyones personal interpretation now.
Your own definition of the raid finder not being a difficulty could change tommorow to. I just like consistency. And regardless of what we want to call it or whether it is a difficulty or not, it is a feature in the game. Or maybe it isn’t a feature. Could change that tommorow to.
I just don’t trust anything anymore. Just starting to learn that maybe nothing really means anything.
I am just using information from the UI. I have not checked the web or posts or similar since I get my info from friends and they are not as detailed in that topic lol. But sure, LFR is raiding and a good tool for people to do content if they dont want to do Normal. Just stated that based on the UI, there is no LFR difficulty. I fully understand your point. Hope the company can work with players in your situation to make new bonds of trust.
Duh, the president sells carries. Can’t do that if it’s available in LFR 
I am hoping so to. I just feel i have been to gullible. Others have tried pointing it out to. But it is what it is though.
For me its simple. Im think about Play another MMO I will unsub this month and when blizz go to microsoft I link the account and back with cheap and dead WoW only for nostalgy fellings over WotLK. Shadowlands was mine last chance for this game beacuse always devs announce a thing and change to get money from who like the game. Good luck for everyone who stay in wow and have fun. The worst thing is play a game to complain about him. I will not complain i simple go to another game to have fun.

Wait where does it even say that?? It isn’t listed anywhere in the announcement about it that it isn’t available from LFR. What are people who don’t regularly raid supposed to do? How do you find a group if not for LFR???

I feel like this isn’t a tragedy, more like a massive disappointment.
No hopes for dragonflight either. Why get hopes up that i might get a cool new mount in any patch or whatever in dragonflight, only to get it snapped away from me 2 seconds later because of some last second, bullcorn change.
So i will probably play a bit, level up, do some 5 mans here and there. But yah, i expect nothing else really.

Haven’t did a raid in many years. Don’t like mean people. Saw the slime cat and I persevered through three weeks of raids to find out no slime cat mount for me. This really sucks. Just going back to dailies.

Maybe LFR will be an option during pre patch…

The achievement for it disappeared after the patch yesterday, so I guess the mount is not available anymore
I hope people can get it in LFR but since I don’t see any threads on it I have a feeling they original achievement was just put back in by mistake.
2 months later.
I tried LFR yesterday but it doesn’t reflect progress on the achievement, I think Devs changed the “Any Raid” from the achievement before deployment for S4 but they never changed the description for the FoS achievements.
They did with stupid timing, 4 days before it went live instead of a more advanced notice.

It is still available. It is preemptively put in the feats of strength category (aka slated for removal). All achievements in the legacy and feats of strength are hidden from the default ui.
Download an addon to look at what blizzard thinks you shouldn’t be able to see.
