One of the issues with the current tree is there are a lot of “OK” options and almost no really good options. Reducing the 2 point nodes to 1 point would help some. There are also a lot of talents that could be rolled into other talents and they still wouldn’t be that great. It would reduce options but right now the “options” are just an illusion.
There are a couple basic swap of locations that would help a bit as well.
Move Invoke Niuzao to Elixir of Determination location.
Move Elixir of Determination to Stagger Strikes.
Delete Staggering Strikes or add the effect to another weak talent like Strike at Dawn.
Option 1:
Move Walk with the Ox to Invoke Niuzaos location (reduce to 1 point)
Move Improved invoke Niuzao to Walk with the Ox location.
Option 2:
Move Walk with the Ox to Invoke Niuzaos location. Keep at 2 points but add some form of cooldown reduction.
Move Improved invoke Niuzao to Walk with the Ox location.
A major issue is Ox Stance and its capstone nodes need to be changed. Ox Stance is rarely used in M+ and nearly totally dead even in Mythic Raid. Those two capstones are 100% dead in all content.
The PTR changes do fix a couple of the 100% dead talents but we still have a few more. We also have a couple nearly dead talents (sub 20% usage in all content). Its one thing for a talent to be unused because its niche but these talents are just bad in general.
