It would be cool. missed a week on my shaman, switched mains to a DH… and the worst part is, i hate torghast… but this actually looks fun. and i cant unlock it.
it doesnt matter if rewards are only cosmetic. its something that actually looks fun and im watching my friends run though while i cant.

People still go to the Maw? I do my 10 souls every week in about 6 minutes and then never step inside again until next reset.

Not all of us are done the questline in there, I rerolled from warrior back to DH so I have to restart her questline again. And also the hunt hound mount every 2 weeks.
that’s very low in terms of where we’re going to end up by even the next tier, let alone the end of this expansion
I keep seeing people saying " it is all cosmetic" but is still a part of the main questline so you cannot just ‘skip’ it unfortunately.

No way I’d ever use that ugly demon-spawn looking mount. Y’know, maybe if I were a Hordie I would, but as Alliance? No freekin’ way. None of the other rewards are any more attractive, especially for what even Blizzard is calling a difficult run that I almost certainly couldn’t handle. All the more reason for me to continue boycotting SL.

A cool, release new content that can only be accessed after time-gated quests that you can only do one per week. That sounds great.

Now, this is coming from someone who believes things are way overtuned. (Like, non-elites should NOT be meleeing for 30-40k, period. Ever. But they do on Floors 13+)
However, to complete the main story, you can just do floors 1-6, leave, repeat two more times. The floor 6 boss will drop all 3 clues, just one at a time. (According to people in General chat at the time at least)

floor 12 boss has 1M health for me… i can only imagine floor 18.
Can that mount be used in the Maw?
Yup. Got covid on 17th of December followed by pneumonia. Haven’t logged on since the 16th. Was in isolation for 6 days and got home to end up being too tired half the time and sitting around on oxygen.
Not even enjoying SL but now they’re going to punish people for taking time off. Makes me not want to even jump back into this mess.
Between the gating, the utter and complete lies they told us at blizzcon last year, and how they’re handling this expansion, I just can’t do it.
