The real endgame: when you’re grouping with someone who can’t play their class as if they got boosted the whole way to 70, put them on /ignore.
You know there are tons of players who leveled their class the traditional way and still can’t figure out how to tank or dps etc. I usually offer helpful advice in those situations, it’s nice to have people to group with in the future

Heaps of players want a CoD / Overwatch mmo. They want access to whatever loadout / class they want to play, with no restrictions on the content. The only leveling they want to do is gearing out and some go a step futher and pay for gear in GDKPs and Arena boosts, I guess they just want to master the different loadouts / classes without the grind? A lot say they want to play competitively, but in reality most won’t even get within the top 1000 in their class anyways.
It’s neither right or wrong, it’s just different. Unfortunately as this style of play becomes the meta it kills so much content that made the classic experience, classic and cuts so much contnent from being playable as everyone is getting boosts instead of finding groups.
Blizzard is really being inefficient with their wealth of content, especially in retail. It’s such a huge missed opportunity that timewalking isn’t better utilized.
I guess classic is their attempt the get more use out of the older content and then players kill that for themselves, pretty ironic lol.
In a way “You think you do but you don’t.” was correct in the sense that a huge portion of the player base don’t want to play classic as it use to be played.

Yea let’s be real, they don’t really want an mmorpg at all, they are just addicted to WoW. The whole soul of an mmorpg is the journey from start to sub cancel. Also, it’s pretty ironic the boosters that say they don’t want to do the same content over, yet they are racing to the end where it is literally grinding the same stuff over and over until you’re raid logging

as someone who leveled multiple toons properly, leveled up professions, did heaps of 5mans, enjoyed all non-pvp aspects of the game, and also wants more raid content, these people piss me off, we have less raid content than phase 1 vanilla and blizz have really dropped the ball making us wait this long, we should have gotten phase 2 last month.
Considering that “purists” like me are the reason we even have official classic servers, i’d say blizzard need to do alot MORE to ‘appease’ us considering how much zoomers, toxic min-maxers and lazy gold buying scum have destroyed alot of the better aspects of this game
I honestly can’t fathom a person choosing to play an RPG who then complains about leveling their character. That is the MAIN purpose of an RPG.

For me, it’s not really about questing, but doing it alone. That’s why I loved leveling when the servers first opened. I didn’t mind questing then. But i don’t like it now.
If the social aspect is gone, then nothing is fun for me. It’s why i far prefer Vanilla over TBC. Even though I think in a vacuum TBC is a better built game, but Vanilla was far more social.

After leveling an alt from 1-60 after tbc launched I’d honestly rather do that again than 60-70. Outland questing is terribly boring and feels like it takes forever to level. It’s slow like vanilla leveling but it has none of the unfocused meandering adventure charm, it’s linear and boring and by nature of being an expansion every alt has to go through the same zones. Can’t blame people if they want to skip it.
Maybe for you, not for most.

I dont do it. I dont mind the 60-70 leveling. Now.
Just depends on what you want out of the game. I am a warrior tank. I have considered abandoning it because i think i would enjoy raiding and heroics better with a different class. If there were a way to get me to the raids and heroics instantly i would do it. I dont see the problem with ppl taking advantage of ways around content they dont want to do.
