Have you actually leveled in FF14? It is literally the same as wow except boringly easy. Quest endlessly, run dungeons that require no effort, quest more, repeat. 0 risk of death. Dungeons dont even need a tank or healer. Just aoe everything.
I guess that is fun for plenty of people and that’s ok. But its no different than wow. Just easier.
The sad reality, blizzard could have resolved this by just upping the exp gain in the old world to make it more appealing and remove xp gain in dungeons if you had a 60+, but they didn’t.
How well is that booster business going?
Even if you boost your character to max in SP you still need to do all of the attunements to access endgame content.
P2 endgame content attunements require heroic runs, which require rep for keys to access them.
You have to spam those dungeons and do those quests for rep and attunements anyway.
Seems dumb to spend gold to bypass content that you have to go back and do anyway.
You can get exalted with Cenarion without ever setting foot in a dungeon.
Lower City you can turn in feathers to honored then do quests to almost exalted without a single dungeon plus you get the extra gold from being max level.
Sha’tar you do your Scyer or Aldor turn-ins until honored, Nethestorm quests will take you to almost revered. By the time you get your Arcatraz Key done you’ll have your heroic key. Since you have to be 70 to do these dungeons anyways…
Honor Hold is the only one without a good consistent turn-in but you can do normal shattered halls for easy rep.
So seems like most of the issues with skipping content by spending gold for boosts can also be solved by spending gold.
because it damages the game for those who want to level up via dungeons/questing. burning crusade was designed around groups of people being out there and leveling not sitting in dungeons afk boosting.
Don’t upset any of them either. You might get a 24 hour silence for it lmao.
Blizzard logic is great isn’t it? Alienate the people whose subscriptions got the boosters and gold sellers to sub in the first place, because the boosters sub in cattle calls.
Why not just get your big boy pants and use the time saved by not pretending you’re a Wall Street Guy on WoW by becoming a real Wall Street Guy on Wall Street then?
I mean it’s not genuine in any way whatsoever. As long as wow has existed there has been a large community of players focused on the economic aspects. Just because you don’t get it doesn’t mean others won’t.
To answer your question, how do you think I afford 4 accounts and time to play?
Answer: It isn’t by being a broke idiot or breaking my back at some manual labour job.
Oh I absolutely get it, because that “community” has always been people who majored undergraduate economics at their community colleges and never managed to translate said classes to a Wall Street career. Which is why they’re playing “WoW Investment Banker” and selling gold to afford rent, rather than being one in real life, but hey thanks for telling on yourself with the “Four Accounts” Flex.
$60 per month is THAT BIG BOY MONEY YEEHAAWWW.
It must be really lonely “at the top” bro
