Slaughterhouse duration is no longer refreshed when adding stacks

Lower the healing reduction. Fine. I guess. I can understand it being too strong. But this is stupid. The counter play was the fact you could cc the warrior and drop the stacks. Now we have a dumb MS effect that may or may not be strongish when we need it. It may be 3% it maybe 36% WHO KNOWS?!?! If you dont want people to play a spec in PvP just say it.

I’d agree with that if 80% of melee specs didn’t have it as well.

I mean, I just don’t want fury to have it because arms is the pvp spec and should always be the pvp spec, fury being good in pvp in its current iteration is toxic and unfun for the entire rest of the game

It’s ignorant to think two different play styles shouldn’t be viable in PvP just because you prefer one to the other. Nothing about fury being viable in PvP stops you from playing arms if you enjoy it more. Gutting a spec because you don’t like it is horrible game design and just homogenizes a game that has had enough of that already.

I’m of the mindset that a spec that hits bloodthirst and rampage over and over that brings bare minimum utility and it’s only niche is to train one target into the dirt with an unhealable ms and unga bunga damage is bad for the game

Fun fact going raging blow spec they both have the same amount of abilities to use/track. With the healing reduction to blood thirst and damage reduction of gushing wounds (along with the nerf to annihlator already) it’s very likely fury goes back to raging blow as it does more damage. Then what would be the excuse as to why you don’t think it should be viable? It’s a pathetic argument. Should fury of ever had the better MS? Nope. But even then the MS effects work differently. Wanting a reliable MS effect isn’t an insane thing to expect. There is at least counterplay built into the fury MS effect. Arms MS effect is just up, non stop, no ramp.

Thankfully, I have some PvP healer friends and I can probably run Arms, since it’s unlikely Fury’s lack of burst post-Slaughterhouse nerf will let us take down healers with any effectiveness off of it.

what lack of burst

I can hit 77-85k crits followed by 45-50k crits on Arms.

Fury at its best is like 30-35k for 2 Bloodbaths, then 20-25k (maybe) for Bloodthirst, followed by Rampaging, but the spec runs little to no crit, so this sequence is highly unlikely. The spec mostly just whittles targets down–equal gear.

I’m kinda digging the Arms burst, but like I said you really need a healer.

Resto Druid here. I’ve been doing random BGs with an Arms Warrior the last few days and he was absolutely slapping people. We won 7-8 games in a row each day before we finally lost, and I felt like the two of us absolutely dominated the games.

In an organized environment (RBGs) with a healer, it seems to me like Arms will be amazing.
