Just did it across all my toons and discovered 497 days total time played since I joined up in cata
Is that a lot?
I know someone with over 1,000 days but he’s played since launch.
497 is definitely a lot though. I had like 150 across my characters last time I checked and was almost offended that I’d spent that much time in this game. lol
I am scared to do mine, but the curiosity will get the best of me at some point.

I’d be afraid to add mine up, since my main character has 397 and I spent a couple few expansions maining other characters…
i started playing in late legion and so far have 49 days of play time, but seeing these replies shows I’m still a wee babe
Nothing wrong with being a Legion kiddo. 
The addons Altoholic and SavedInstances track this, you still have to log onto them but you don’t have to do /played
No lol I have 1400 days of /played and I’ve only played since BC

497 with starting in cata is quite a lot. I started in vanilla as a kid and have about 550days accross all my characters

About 700 days since release. And yeah, I do think that’s a lot. But at least I can console myself with the thought that 150 days of that are on AH mules, so I was probably multi-tasking for that time.
That still leaves me with about 550 days of game playing time though.
