I’m afraid to use Abomination Limb because I can’t see anything under it. Defile is almost as bad.

Visual for abom limb is so incredibly bad now. I really hope they dont take 4 expansions to address it. It is actually a hazard and now.

Yeah it’s irritating having to hold it sometimes due to this, instead of letting it rip and gather up mobs (1st boss ToT add phase #cough).

WTB a Dev who actually plays the game.

I’ve never once held slappy hands because of the visual. I can’t think of a time it made me miss a mechanic.

Throne of tides first boss add phase, you literally can not see the blue circles under abom limb animation. There’s plenty of other situations but this one is where you used to hold it for for grouping/damage, now is just unusable during this phase. Last boss of AD is pretty much at your own risk as you wont see new spider spawns.

Unless you have some secret particle settings and would like to share with class, it 100% covers ground aoe effects.

I have some specific graphics settings so maybe it helps. I just followed a guide by Quazii (YouTube-WoW default Graphic Settinf SUCKS: Fix it NOW).

That said, I personally have not had issues even with the encounters you mention. Im typically moving so even if the spell effect covers the spouts or spiders I can still tell where they are.

Yes the old hand animation was better and it can be hard to see the ground depending on where you are.

But I also like the new aura vortex around the dk. Something about it is nice to just destroy the environment around me with defile and abomination’s limb combo lol. So I love it but hate it at the same time.

To be fair there is just a lot of stuff coming at you in those phases in general, but you shouldn’t really be looking at abom limb once you activate it.

I kind of peripheral, GTFO really helps in M+
