SLands Retribution Aura rework suggestion

Yeah, I realized that, which was why I suggested the PvP talents to allow the use of 2 auras at once.

My goal was to make:

  • “Class Buffs” more available to more comps.
  • Have a “preferred” Aura with the other Auras being weaker, more misc buffs, if your “preferred” aura was already given
  • Allow an option to double stack the most “beneficial Auras” for any given spec in PvP.

Like I said, I wasn’t trying to make Auras be the end all be all for the class, it’s just an idea. :smiley:

No reason for it to be restricted to PvP only… The whole PvP talent system should be scrapped anyways, most of the useful ones that are there should just be baseline to their classes and the rest don’t even have a reason to exist. It was a nice experiment but it failed miserably, it’s time to put it out of it’s misery.

This is such a sick idea

Here’s another random idea I just had…

Aura of Kings - Blessing of Kings effect for players within 100 yards.

Aura of Wisdom - Blessing of Wisdom effect for players within 100 yards.

Aura of Might - 5% Primary stat for players with 10 yards.

Maybe even make this a talent row to add a permanent effect to any aura you have applied, such as Crusader Aura plus Kings

The problem is we have 20 man raids now and if you make auras unique and strong you need to bring that many paladins.

So, to fix this they either can’t be unique – spread the buffs around or they have to be weak enough that you don’t need paladins.

I would prefer general auras for the Class, and then each spec having its own aura that help them and their allies in their theme or role.

And ret need a good aura cause there’s no way you’re gonna bring a ret over a prot or hpal when they bring all the utility a ret brings. Hpal is even more effective because of aura mastery.

And crusader aura needs to be back as passive or Quality of Life change, whenever you succesfully mount up, you swap to Crusader Aura automaticly.

Maybe I wasn’t clear. Its still just 3 auras, the talents wouldn’t stack

I like the idea of different aura specialty per spec that would actually make it good to try to bring all 3 spec and not just 1 spec that covers it all; but I think it should we an additional aura that is always active or an additional effect to any aura active.

something like while an aura is active

Holy- 5% stat increase(pretty much old kings with a reduction)
Prot- 5% dmg reduction
Ret- 5% dmg increase

Also if specs share similar buffs then it will cause people to reject certain class because they already have that buff for the group. That was an issue in the past, thats why buffs got change.
