SL Story Hypothosis; Arthas is Anduin's real father

if I’m in civil court and my defense for not paying a contractor is “this random chick with no expertise told me I could stiff you”, I’m going to lose.

And if I told said judge I did the contract while being drugged by the random chick(without my knowledge I might add) so I couldnt think straight I think the judge would be more sympathetic.

In this case, you got drugged by that chick long after signing the initial agreement, the judge would ask why that is even remotely relevant to the deal you agreed to in sound mind and rule against you.

Just because you are drunk while driving doesn’t mean the police won’t hold you accountable.

The saying ‘Drunk thoughts are sober truths’ is a saying for a reason, too.

Except they didnt even know they were drunk/they were drugged hence losing their ability to think straight.

Onyxia was in the courts LONG before Stormwind was being rebuilt. She was influencing the chaos long before any reconstruction began. So no any deal was being influenced by her from the start.

They agreed on a sume. The nobles bailed out. The guild did nothing wrong.

They agreed to an excessive sum. No one did anything wrong EXCEPT Onyxia.

That’s honestly far more plausible and consistent with the timeline. Who do you think sired Onyxia’s whelps?

I’m not the person you asked, but to be honest; Nefarian probably sired them.

They were All Varian’s.

Because that is still less messed up than the actual most likely answer.

e: Onyxia had Tiffin killed for a reason, wake up people!

That is not how a contract works. Considering the guild rebuild EVERYTHING i say they were allowed some entitlement here.

No it wasnt. Varian should be the least to blame in this because he got tossed in the middle of mess created by Onyxia.

Actually Onyxia probably wanted Tiffin dead because it made Varian easier to manipulate.

I don’t think the theory makes sense or is particularly interesting at all. I don’t think the timeline matches up. I don’t think Tiffin and Arthas ever met.

Historically he has not been moody or sad. People just hate to see men express any other emotion than anger, so moments where he’s sad about people dying, or traumatized from having his soul dominated, stick out to people. People especially hate men who are traumatized. Like, revile them.

I also wouldn’t characterize Arthas as ‘sad’. He took out his frustrations through anger. Moody, maybe. But not sad.

I really do not think it is necessary to include this.

Nefarian prefered to create dragons through experimentation. Meanwhile, Katrana was trying to get Varian’s attention for years.

Exactly! She was a black dragon, they have rock powers!

They almost certainly did meet, but after Anduin was born. Arthas caught up with Varian and met baby Anduin when he came to Stormwind to take his paladin vows. Tiffin was still alive at the time.

Or you know. She just shape shifted into a rioter/mingled with them, then tossed the stone and boom. Dead queen.

I’m assuming this was in the Arthas novel.

Why would he need to go to Stormwind to take his Paladin vows? Wasn’t the Silverhand formed in Stratholme?

Or it was just an upset person angry that their leaders failed them

I’d be angry too. Stomwind’s nobles almost get the nation obliterated out of pure greed, then won’t pony up when a good chunk of the middle class worked themselves into poverty to rebuild when it did actually get destroyed?

They shoulda thrown more rocks.

They should have been angry at onyxia for manipulating the situation. Instead they decided to work for her.

And yes, this is how you guys sounds when you blame the nobles for not knowing onyxia was working behind the scene to make the situation untenable.
