What is the likely release? I’m finding BFA very lame, do you guys unsub till SL comes out, I’ve preordered SL but now unsubed till maybe the beta or close to launch.

Late this year. I wouldn’t expect earlier than fall.
Personally I don’t think there’s anything to prepare for, unless they decide to remove some content. All of our stuff is replaced right away anyway.

i want them to get this right. i cant imagine another xpansion failing my expectations like BFA did.
all jokes aside. i think before blizzcon. maybe october? september seems interesting…
then again if i had my way. delay until everything is cut and bundled pur-fectly

They might have warfronts or those pre launch quests that segue us into SL.
It it’s just logical you hit the first day of SL you expect to do your quests or whatever and you might just get gear with it. So my thinking is incorrect… there’s really nothing to prepare, you either play or not.
That is way too much time. They need time but not that much. They didn’t need that much for Legion.
I’m 100% okay with it taking over a year and getting a good return to form.
Blizzard if you’re reading this please take your time, knock it out of the park.

legion had its short comings.
although december 2021 was a joke i would still love it.
They need perfection this time around. community is still simi angry about BFA failed ending so going into shadowlands needs to grip us with excitment.

They won’t go 3 years between expacs. They would lose too many people that way .
It will be the average 2 year period so between Sept. and Dec 2020 is when SL will be out.

I never really unsub. Ever during major downtimes like end of expansion droughts I’m still around. But there’s nothing you really need to do to prepare since expansions are resets. So it depends if you have any other goals in BfA or elsewhere that you want to do.
I’d guess Shadowlands might be September or October, but it’s totally up in the air right now.
i want them to lose the fans but to tripple in returning players.
Trust me. a good wow game will grip the hearts of long lost heroes.
Then again… acti wont let blizza be blizz.

WoD was a disaster because the original plan was to release the following expac (Legion ) a year after WoD launched.
It took longer then they planned so a lot of WoD was gutted .
i never expected my favorite expansion being launched as the next expansion of warlords of draenor…so for that i still do believe in the possibility that shadowlands will make things right
Release date is tentatively 12/31/20. I am expecting it to be pushed back to 2021, maybe Februaryish. Call me a pessimist if you want, though I’d be ok with it.
i think your people are against wod because of us champions leaving 6 million garrisons empty in frostwolf
they cant push it back
by legality they must release it on or before december 31 2020, this date being the latest they can do

I’m still playing BFA because I enjoy BFA.
I haven’t pre-ordered Shadowlands. The absolute earliest I’m paying for that game will be at release. I need to see reviews, community reception, and additional features first. I’m not just going to assume that the next expansion (or product in general) will be “good” anymore.
Context: I preordered Warcraft 3 Reforged.
