My only concern is the new wave of Warlock mains to turn up in Era, tho Ill be perfectly happy to take their gold for the Enchants they will need.
Been kind of debating myself… I’m a lifelong lock main… and sm/ruin is my favorite lock spec in teh history of wow.
On the other hand, ranking gear for warlocks is straight garbage and I both kind of want to see what a rogue does with HWL daggers… and also have my first non ptr warrior that I’d like to see what it does with gear as well.

Perds with 815+ AP hits hard too, tho R14 dags with pve gear is just ridiculous too.
R14 gear with the typical pvp player trappings is like 680 AP and add in the R 14 Dagger you’re like 190 -240 damage (auto swings) scales Backstab.
T1 with the typical PvE setup is like 180 - 245 damage range (auto attack) scales backstab.
The T1 with the R14 daggers tho, 215 - 260 (auto attack range scalesbackstab.
You could even go further with T2+ gear giving you godlike backstabs, I break out the 2.5 when the enemy team has lots of gear,but typically I like the sporting chance and fun of actually playing, and refrain from using consumes

Yeah there was no way a SL lock wasn’t winning this when u put someone like snutz on the lock with this ruleset
The only ppl who had a shot of killing him was jaelaw or perplexity. Hydra would have gotten closer but a lot of minute details didn’t work in his favor

This was basically the result everyone called when the tourney was announced. Still fun for sure, but we knew the go.
Yup, anyone thinking any other class has a snowballs chance in hell is delusional; Lock is just BiS in 1v1.
I’m not sure how I feel about the level of raw stat consumes allowed, but tbh this tourney was just an amazing display of vanilla PVP, and will be my go-to link when I’m trying to explain to people just how calculated vanilla PVP is at the high level.
As a player who is terrible in PVP, I really enjoyed watching these guys.

the total price pool was 100k. But winner got 50k. The top player for each class got 6. 7k each.
I’m glad Snutz won and Ziqo is a beast of a mage. I would’ve loved to see Venruki in this too.
I did LOL at the rogues getting pumped out early.
Pshero is the only content creator I watch, and I only watch via his Youtube videos, but I was watching live on his first qualifier duel against the SL lock and that was a super close duel.
There’s one particular part I want to clip where he tries to equip his engi helm but it’s still BOE lmao. I was dying laughing.
