SL is not worse than BFA, stop

I dunno, I had lots of fun in BfA. It had some issues, and losing the artifacts and class halls felt painful, but overall it was still fun.

Where is the fun in Shadowlands?

I personally dont. That’s where my entire beef comes from. Quite frankly, I wouldn’t care if mythic raiders got il 300 gear right now from shriek. They just shouldn’t be able to bring the $hit anywhere else.

I’d support ANY modification they made to lockouts on raid or lack of lockouts on mythic+ if it meant an even playing field. 233 weps are really only substantial upgrades for some.

I disagree. I would have been and i orefer doing 10000 islands and warfronts for amazing transmog over 100 WQ for just recolor transmog on Shadowlands.

Bfa for me was great, amazing familiar abd repeatable content, easy to get, and easy to complet with alts. Sadly, to me their dungeons were utterly trash

On SL i hate is open world but I love their dungeons. And is alt-friendlyness is worse than bfa. Also SL has choreghast wich is even more boring than any warfront

I didnt even play WoD.

I had a boatload of alts in Warlords. Loved the zones and storylines and Garrisons and crafting.

I had only four max levels in BfA. And they didn’t do much. I only have three in Shadowlands. And I’m playing a LOT more Old Republic than I used to.

To each their own.

Maybe you should stop thinking ur opinion is the only vaild one

This is a very subjective topic.

I didn’t like WoD because it became stale.

I liked bfa because I really enjoyed the raids.

I liked SLs when it came out because it started with tons of content. That content is just old and boring at this point. Many of my friends have left. The others just raid log. It’s horrible.

To each his own but I at least like the overall theming of WoD and BFA. Shadowlands just doesn’t interest me in its theming and overall design. I’ve subbed for a couple of months to try and make it through all of the story etc but I just don’t have any interest in the Shadowlands themselves. I tried to give it a shot because the last time I had no interest in their new area was when they announced MoP and that ended up being my favorite expansion, beginning to end. But I just don’t have any interest in the any of the new factions or the lands themselves with the possible exception of Bastion. But I found the Kyrians irritating where I couldn’t really enjoy the environments all that much. Even the the hub seems poorly designed in terms of aesthetic. Oribos just feels like an unfinished area to me, like I’m wandering around in a circular warehouse with all of the necessities around but no real character. I sympathize with Blizzard to an extent because it has to be tough to come up with new ideas that are appealing to a lot of people but the entire idea and execution of Shadowlands has been a big swing and a miss for me.

For me anyway going by fun goes WOD BFA then SL, I love lore and being able to see some orcs I haven’t seen since warcraft 1 and 2 was nice and NOT having them blue or looking like scourge was awesome.

Replayability BFA WOD SL horde and alliance having their own leveling paths plus being able to choose the order really helped avoid alt leveling burnout. Even WOD had different towns based on horde and alliance.

No matter how you cut it SL is bleh at least for me. Lore feels like they weren’t even trying with covenants, seeing one of my favorite characters as a blue smurf instead of how they should be is just depressing. And leveling alts is unbearable, I really hope next exp they bundle SL into chromie time so I never have to level threw SL again

It’s not the content, it’s how horrible the systems are.

Island Expeditions were garbage, Warfronts were garbage, Azeroth traits were imbalanced BS, the story narrative was terrible, corruptions were imbalanced RNG nonsense, trinket design from the Nazjatar raid was imbalanced BS … do I need to keep going?

So far in Shadowlands…

Choreghast… the Maw, Covenant energy, unbalanced legendary items with a lack of refunds to change secondary stats… AND THATS ALL WE HAVE TO DO

this is like comparing which turd smells the worst

I definitely agree on that. I think that you should raid to gear up to raid. M+ to gear up to M+. PvP to gear up to PvP. Sure maybe some minor crossover at the start, but once you start hitting heroic (+10 for M+, Conq gear for PvP) and up? The gear from that content should be unequivocally stronger.

I think we’re on the same page here. I do think though, that 233 weapons for a +20 in time achievement would at least show a bit more parity.

As a pvper the last time I had real fun in this game was WoD

From my perspective, SL is the worst that WoW has ever been.

So far atleast.

Yes… yes it is. After 16 years of playing this game, Shadowlands is by far and away, the WORST content yet. Easily.

The systems are less overbearing, but I hate the covenants. Still don’t like some of my class abilities being in other sanctums and still would have preferred a talent row. Conduits are whatever. It’s the same feeling as essences and the Argus Crucible.

Anima is better now with the buffs. I hope it continues to get better with each major patch.

The story areas were not very expansive. When either leveling or through the covenants. Luckily they are adding more story, but the initial story was not really there much at all. It’s just gonna take them longer than it took in BFA (likely because of Covid) so it feels a lot worse.

The areas themselves are instances and not open world. I hate that, and I hate having to fly through Oribos to get to each area. I wish they had made it more like Outland.

I did not mind Warfronts. They just should have had higher difficulty a lot sooner.

I didn’t like the mining aspect of Islands, but everything else was ok.

I absolutely hate the maw. And most locations look wise are very dull and muted.

Torghast I’m fine with. I wish it had more variety, but I don’t hate it.

They gave professions a little bit more with the crafting marks. But it still needs a major overhaul, especially after the squish. I hope that happens in a future expansion.

What I hope for is that Korithia and the new campaign story are all interesting. And I hope next expac goes back to open world.

Also I like most of the dungeons this expac. I hated most of them in BFA. The raid is ok.

I totally agreed. Besides raiding time I would just PvP all day long in WoD. Enjoyed Ashran as well

Everybody hates Ashran, but it was the only thing that kept me subbed during WoW. Had a last doing it.
