SL is not worse than BFA, stop

And BFA is not worse the WoD, all 3 are trash but SL is the lesser evil.

WoD had little content.
BFA technically has more content than both but felt like you were doing the dishes.
SL has little content too but we are not even at the first major patch, content feels like chores too but to a lesser extent. Torghast and the Maw > Warfronts and Islands.

Agree SL has lesser chores than BFA which makes it feel “Don’t have things to do” but has to make up for content

Idk personally as someone who only does pvp i rate it as wod>SL=bfa

I want to put bfa before SL but i’m still annoyed at having needed pve trinkets and essences for pvp in bfa so we’ll see how horrible S2 is.

On a pvp fun metric definitely WoD>>>>>>>>>>BfA>>SL

Agree with this as well. Generally how I feel.

I didn’t hate BFA personally. It was great for casuals and solo players. They messed up by making the systems not alt friendly.

Visions >Torghast
imo

Best giggle today thank you OP. Guess what didn’t buy not going too if things don’t change dramatically. First Xpac since 2008 haven’t brought.

Not that it matters, but I wouldn’t call any of the expansions trash (something that has no value that we throw away). As far as pointless opinions go, I thought BFA was the worst experience I’ve had in the game… although I can’t say I hated the amount of Haste one could get near the end of the expansion through Azerite Armor and Corruptions.

I personally think SL is better designed but has the worse overworld and atmosphere. I just don’t care for a single Shadowlands zone. The capital city might be the worst we’ve ever had.

I miss Kul Tiras and Zandalar like you wouldn’t believe. I just miss Azeroth in general, I guess.

So wod wasn’t the worst expansion of all time? I think the raids in wod were awesome.

WoD had good PvP. Good enough for me to be better than BFA and SL.

Still early for SL but at the moment, it’s not the lesser evil of the three however.

I dont think theres even a debate that 8.3 bfa was 10x better than 9.0. Obviously it is yet to be seen what later tiers of shadowlands will be like.

The valor system in place at the start of a tier is going to be epic. As much as pve vendor would make sense, I dont think they’ll do it.

Several things I would do if I were blizz that would make the expansion the best one I’ve ever played:

All keys timed at 20 unlocks 233 valor upgrades.

All conduits at all levels can also be purchased with valor.

Bring awakening back as the new seasonal affix. It’s the only one they ever did right.

Dude its still 1st patch, how can you even compare them yet.

Change that to 233 weapon upgrades and I’m game. 233 across the board? No thanks.

WOD didnt have enough content but it managed to still be playable even without M+ as the crutch they lean hard on today. BFA and SL i got them about equal, neither one delivered content that was any fun at all. Take M+ away and compare these to WOD and id say WOD was a way better.

both BfA and WoD were better in my opinion at least I bought those ones.

all the main systems are in the game so it is easy to compare right now - they aren’t planning on adding new ones later. If you don’t like the current systems it isn’t getting better.

Yeah but, you know what WoD had that neither BFA nor SL has had so far? RPG elements. Plus WoD was only garbage because so much content was cut, according to beta testers for WoD the cut content would have made WoD AMAZING. The last 3 expansions’ biggest problem is that they build themselves around borrowed power, they have no permanence and most of their content doesn’t have replay value, just look at the 50-60 leveling experience in SL… there’s a reason why nobody likes the Maw intro and zone storylines…they’re overly long and boring, especially after 2 or 3 alts.

idk about amazing, but there was an entire city and zone cut. I dont doubt it would of been alot better. WOD mainly failed because they had promised 1 new expansion every year and then quickly realized that was not at all possible if the standards were going to be kept high. We were already stuck in MOP way to long so they cut content to rush to release.

Don’t worry. When the next expansion comes, everyone will conveniently forget about all the complaining they did about Shadowlands and consider it a decent expansion.
