Some races got shafted…
Let me start off by saying what we did get is amazing and I love it, but there was a pretty heavy imbalance on which races got what.
Compare what Orcs and Nightelves got as to what the Bloodelf men and Forsaken got…
The orcs have so many new options, face scars, piercings, tusk rings, tattoos and body paints which can be layered, necklaces etc…They have three tabs of options you can mix and match
While Blood elf men got the really basic things and nothing more. few hairstyles, few beards, eye colour and skin colour.. the stuf that veryone get.
Where are the scars for bloodelf men? or the jewlery, the warpaints? All that good stuff..
And the Forsaken, they really didn’t get much new, thry got options seperated so you can mix and match better, and the bons/undamaged options which are fantastic, but, Forsaken have so much potential they really didn’t get much new that wasn’t allready there. Why not give them the option for elf ears? a more upright posture? Banshee style hair, a more ghoul like face, face with part of the skull showing, etc.. they have sooo much potential and they didn’t really get much that was actually NEW, just old assets reshuffled.
I’m hopeing there will be a second wave of customisations.. but as it stands, I feel like my Void elf actually got more from this than my blood elf did. And allied races arn’t even meant to be getting anything yet.
It feels like some races just got notably more effort and love than other races who just got a token effort. And if you play one of the less loved races, its’ a bit disheartening.
