What would be best.
I tried a week ago and leveled a Warlock to 38 in Zandalar and is it even worth leveling or it’s best to go straight to 60 then do all the old content?

Leveling is super quick and I think pretty enjoyable
The biggest journey starts after reaching 60
I’d probably boost. The leveling experience for me is great until I have to go to SL, I’d rather boost than push through those last 10 levels in the current content.
9.2 is a ways away so I’d just level it. It’s quick as it is already.
Leveling is super easy and honestly after the SL level squish, the progression of skills and ranks makes learning how things function feel smooth. Especially for a fresh class/spec you never tried before. You’ll naturally lose a bit of steam around level 50 (most people do) but the leveling exp boosts plus easier objectives+renown for literally anything in 9.1.5 while getting to 60 is less torture than before. Make sure to buy the renown 40 token and use it per covenant on that alt before starting.
1-50 only takes like 11-14 hours now from what I remember. 50-60 takes about 8-9 hours if replaying the campaign/storyline. So you’re looking at around 24-25 hours playtime if doing it manually.
Personally I’m not a fan of the 60 boost or buying boosts generally. I got a “free” level boost with my Shadowlands pre-order (ugh ) and used it during summer 2020… now that character is collecting dust/I just don’t feel “connected” to it the same way I do with characters I hand-raised myself.
That’s just me though, I enjoy learning each individual spell and seeing the rotation fleshed out/unlocked as I steadily level up. I feel I get a better understanding of the class (if it’s a class I haven’t played before) leveling up myself.
A doubt when leveling how do you start the next expansion let’s say from vanilla to BFA. Are you send auto accept quests so you know what expansion is next.
Since I used my free boost some months ago lv 60 and got no clue where to start MOP to BFA. Ty
Do you know the class your looking to boost? If you do, sure boost unless you want Heritage armor.
If you don’t, level as it’s the best way to learn any class.
Yea. Dont boost your toon.
Depends on whether you want to actually play or not. If you don’t want to play, well, the best way to do that is to just not play.
honestly , boosting is not a good idea because leveling make you learn your spec + set up your binds so you are ready for end game content in good condition
Leveling doesn’t assist in setting up binds for pvp at all.
I feel you on this. I have a great time leveling my toons all the way up to SL. Once I hit SL I get a level or two and then just get burnt out. I hate the questing. Everything is on rails and it drives me nuts. I’ve thought about a 60 boost so many times but never end up going through with it. Always just end up logging out. Sad times
ok macro focus kick
Personally I would save your money because leveling 1-50 is very fast. But then again, I actually enjoy old content and leveling so I am a little bit bias.
It really depends on what kind of content you like?
I personally can’t stand to level another toon (I have levelled from scratch one of every class over the past few expansions).
Unlike other RPGs where levelling matters, it is really a means to an end in WoW. Until they make levelling actually mean something, I would personally just boost every time.
Leveling is fast just check chrome time to see the time Stamps as some zones are faster then others. Dungeon ques have gotten faster since they do like cross expac if it is taking too long.
Depends. I level alts from level 1 (except when we get free boosts) just because it is fast and easy and I enjoy doing it all again since it does go so fast. But if you have leveled a couple toons from level 1 to max and have seen the content and know how to play then I recommend the boost. One of the boosts I used was to get Warrior to max (a couple expansions ago) because I simply had no desire to level a warrior. I had leveled enough classes from level 1.
That’s cute you think that’s the only bind needed for pvp.
really!? I do all 4 bolstering quests each dungeons once for quest to hit max with renown 60 already in about 4 hours tops…
