Is there a reason we can’t be trusted to choose what we have on our bars anymore? Why was this ever a thing to begin with? The space bar already does it! It didn’t need to be placed on the bar in the first place, and it certainly doesn’t need to be put back on the bar when we take it off.

Skyward Ascent is the faster than Surge Forward, so take Surge Forward off the bar instead.

I moved all the skyriding abilities to action bar 8. Now I get a second set of combat actions from the air different from ground.

I think Kiofea is suggesting that if you take one off the bar, you can probably get away with taking both off your bar.

Blizz deciding for you what goes on your bar at all times is no big deal, yeah.

Once mounted action bar 1 switches, but if you have all skyriding abilities elsewhere on your bars they wont auto fill anymore. You get a free action bar for aerial combat that only shows up while in the air/mounted.

Personally, I use the bar that changes, like for druid forms and such.
So my main rotation is WERT…which when I hit my mount key then becomes my skyriding keys until Im off my mount, at which point it returns to my rotation/combat keys again.
Just makes it so my fingers are nearly always resting on the same four keys regardless of what im doing.

I use SA on my keys as explained above, but yeah…i dont like removing skyriding abilities only to see theyve been forcibly put back next time I relog.

yeah, they dont seem to know that you need to point your mount up vertical to the sky and then use the skill. you gain CRAZY altitude in a few charges…

Just admit you have no idea what you’re talking about, sparkette. Remove the spell from your bar and see what happens.
