Never heard it discussed anywhere until now. Don’t understand why it’s a big deal.
Mostly people thinking it could have been named better. The discussions start with the slower speed and devolves into this. Partially that thing where people can never be happy with something, but I saw it as an opportunity to improve upon it and posted my suggestions.
The name is small concern cause most will just call it dragonriding. The speed change feels awful and they should never nerf travel speed when later in the game it just feels awful
Just say you think the name is bad and that the devs who named it should feel bad. Rather have brutal honesty than… whatever it is you’re doing here.

Yo I hate to break it to you, but Wind Riding is about as bland as Sky Riding.
Static flying → Restrained Flying. Dragonriding → Unleashed Flying
I said what I meant. There is a difference in providing constructive criticism and making a fool of yourself on the internet. I think wind rider is a better name because it has a lore precedent, with titles and relevant npcs on both factions.

So when TWW comes out is regular flying going to be available in DF without having to do a bs achievement? I paid money for DF and literally cannot play it or enjoy it. I know I’m gonna catch a lot of crap for this. I cannot cannot dragon ride. I have spent hours trying. Read articles on the internet. Watched more youtube vidoes than I can count. I suck at it. I cannot do it. And so far Blizzard has ignored me. I CAN’T BE THE ONLY PLAYER THAT IS HAVING THIS KIND OF TROUBLE.

You definitely aren’t the only player with this issue. But sadly I don’t think blizz will give access to old flight immediately upon expansion launch.

Skyriding is what Dynamic Flying will be called in TWW.
I would have gone with Sky-mastery, but Skyriding is fine.
