Skyriding is too hard for disabled gamers

Truthfully I believe that pathfinder should be removed completely. You have argued that both should be locked behind pf or none at all. We differ on this slightly but overall we agree on the overall end goal. It is okay to have disagreement but still understand different view points.

Second paragraph genius

I even offered to help them with tips and tricks if they wanted to try to dynamic fly.

But apparently me being disabled means I’m not disabled, because I don’t agree with those who want static flying handed to us day one. So I get ignored, along with my ideas and help.

Ironic. Possibly hypocritical.

This is very easy for the abled but not as easy for some of the disabled. Some disabled player are very skilled and capable but for other it is not so easy. This is why we can not assume that the play experience lens for WoW is 100% uniform for all players and exactly the same.

it should be.
Ion seriously confirmed it serves no purpose in giving any flight mode without it.
“exploration” was a favored word in speaking of pathfinder…well that doesnt apply at all anymore given 100% of the playerbase conceiveably could be flying day one with skyriding with no exploration other than a short questline.

Agreed…just remove PF entirely…or just let it give a really cool mount or two instead.

stop trolling me, thanks

Sure, but it is the same quests, fully accessible for all players via grounded travel. It’s not ableism or restrictive for disabled folks.

Yeah just because it is a topic they may not like or disagree with is not trolling. They can stop posting in the thread or put people on ignore.

But since they keep positing it must suggest that this is an important topic to continue discussion on. But I do agree that this is an important topic which is why the discussion is ongoing.

I think Lio’s more interested in trolling/badgering/berating/insulting anyone who disagrees with her than actually making a point.

But (even without pathfinder), you really need to do the campaign anyways, since it also unlocks thinks like world quests, sparks, weekly meta quests, delves T4+, and basically the entire end-game

I mean, what Mafic pulled here is one of the biggest self owns I’ve ever seen.

There’s literally a Braille device legally blind people can use to assist them on the computer. The Braille device raises/lowers Braille characters based on what is displayed on screen.

lol…two flight modes…one requires a few quest taking less than an hour…the accesibillty version requires pathfinder.
its NOT the same for all players when some disabled players CANT cope with your free version of flight and have to work for theirs

Yeah first comment in the thread points out the duplicate.

WOW…I wonder if we’re allowed to mock anyone else in here for how they are born other than just handicapped players?

One of the reasons why I hesitate to argue to put dragon riding behind pf like TBC normal flying is that some in the player community would blame and create a backlash against disabled players if that course was taken.

However, given that there is no effort required to use dragon riding in TWW compared to TBC normal flying this is why there is a disparity and where unfairness tends to foster. This unfairness being fostered leads to toxicity which is why I believe no pf should exist at all. Just end it and turn the page.

Yeah removing PF is very easy and not a demand that is unreasonable which is why this would be an easy win for BlizZard.

You trolled me bro, because I did in fact contribute to the OPs issue, you chose to ignore that part of my post and stated I didn’t.

So if you don’t mind, put me back on ignore. And just know, if we are ever grouped in a run, THIS is an example of why I am going to start a kick on you.

How many characters can it do at once?

If it can do enough characters at once, you could theoretically screen record, OCR any text that pops up in real time, and send it to that device to effectively real time translate the game into braille.

You’d need a decent computer to do it though.

I have the same problem, trouble with my hands, but I did the main quests and the exploration achievement and got steady flying on one of my characters and it made things a whole lot easier. Just got to struggle through it, and it’s rough watching some guys zoom past me at 700% of ground speed, but in the end… you got to do it. For your own benefit if nothing else.
