I dont really know how else to describe it. Occasionally, when I am on a skyriding mount, changing angle feels less fluid and more like its alternating between set angles?
So, it’ll be like, I’m angled down, and I start angling back up to be flying level, but instead of smoothly adjusting level as I adjust the camera, it’ll kinda stay pointing down until I move the camera a certain amount, at which point it adjusts to be level.
It only happens sometimes and I cant reliable replicate it. Getting off my mount and resummoning it usually fixes it.

I had this issue many times. Since the changes to flying I use only Steady Flight and sometimes it bugs out and tilts you at an angle. It is super annoying because you can’t just fly how we used to, it’s either this angle or that angle and nothing in between.
Like you said, remounting usually fixes this but that is not always the case.

I thought I was crazy!!! Same bug happens for me as well every so often. It feels like when the bug is occurring that the game wants it soft locked to 45 degree angles.

Same here since pre-patch.
To me it feels like the game keeps trying to auto-level/stabilize my flight angle? So the angle just kinda locks in when I’m flying in a flat line and I have to push the camera way further than normal to get it to break this lock and fly the way I’d like it to. Very annoying!

This bug seems to manifest the most often and strongly after switching between dynamic and static a few times.
Still getting this off and on.

This is happening constantly and it is driving me insane, especially on my herb/mining alt…I keep losing vigor because it keeps resetting me to neutral. T_T
I generally want to keep my character just a few degrees bellow neutral to keep vigor regenerating, and the game just keeps going “nah, you’re flat level now and not generating vigor”
I bet this was added for beginners to aid in leveling people out. As an expert flyer I barely notice it because you can maneuver out of it without an issue. I notice it more when I’m flying in straight directions for longer periods of time, but otherwise I’ve found it negligible to how flying felt previously. It could also be that I have full camera control enabled (The option is “Never Adjust Camera”) under camera settings.
