Yes. Those 10k people are starting from level 1. And will have to naturally contribute to the server and its economy. Not bring vast amounts of gold from another realm’s eather to this one.
Also if 10k people really rerolled onto Mala and i was in a 3h que per day after already investing 2 weeks in the game… well, itd be increadibly unfortunate and rediculously iritating, but i’d prolly eitber deal with it or stop playing the game. Not advertising to ruin other people’s servers just because i got effd

That honestly sucks man, and i feel for you. I went thru the same thing in Vanilla. And somewhat now with a couple of my buddies with 70s on Skyfury. But they made their choice, and you have to make yours. Not force a situation onto thousands of others just because one was forced onto you.

That’s too bad. I feel you though, if I had that many friends playing the game too, it would be an impossible choice. On the bright side (if there is one), the queues won’t last forever and then you can play and stay on pvp (eww pvp lol) Best of luck friend.
Your crazy to think the economy will be ruined at this stage. You having 8k gold is not common. Most people dont even have 1000 yet for dual spec.

I stayed out of the decision this time. Since i heavily influenced where we went for classic and SoM.
Im fine with skyfury honestly. Its more for my friends. I can get on reasonably early. But seeing our discord full of queue times, and having to live and do things around it. Is insane.
I figured skyfury could help maladath. Maladath sits at 9k people prime time. Still 6k under cap. Skyfury has 15k + 10k queue. Even if half came maladath. There is no queue still and skyfury becomes some what reasonable
Youre crazy to think it wont have an impact and definitely underestimate the amount of gold around in both servers right now.
Since were throwing out insults now, its understandable that you dont have a good sense of how much gold is flying around right now since you can barely play the game anyways (Btw its 8k liquid gold). 20-35k in total auction value at any one time right now.
Idk what your doing to make that kind of gold or how much time you play. But i would love for you to prove it.
My friend who plays all day and night is just barely breaking 6k for epic flying.

they did that and now we have the server situation we have atm because of it. They said from the start no transfers to the new fresh realms
You can’t be serious if you are implying people should be able to transfer to this realm. It’s a fresh realm with NO transfers to it for a reason. Transfers to this realm would destroy it.

Simple. Hit 70 in the forst 5 days. Spend 2 days making 2.4k raw gold from all outlands quests. Make 3-4 dks and have them each learn different crafting profs. Using 2nd account to monitor AH while you farm ore, herbs, leather. Craft Craft Craft till you’re blue.
This is an increadibly common strat utalized by the pserver community on season restarts and im not even close to one of the ones doing it most efficiently on my realm.

economy for one, the fresh servers were made for everyone to have a fresh start and that includes the economy having a fresh start too. you allow transfers over to Maladeth then guess what, tons of people come over many with having gold capped characters. that would absolutely destroy that server’s economy.
if you wanna play on the fresh server then do what everyone else had to do… start fresh

They are talking about transfers from skyfury, which is also fresh. Not just any random server.
so fresh to fresh… plausible but at the end of the day people gonna go to where the most people are all over again. What they need to do is lock servers at certain points which they have started to do. if they had put in a lock mechanism early on we wouldn’t have the issues we have now

Yup. I wouldnt want non fresh realms on these 2 servers either.
Thought it would be a good way to boost Maladath to a bigger population which currently the last 2 nights sit at about 9k concurrent players.
Where Skyfury is at the 15k cap and 10k extra. Felt it was a win for both servers if it was allowed
Then I’d say a smart way to do it would be open up the transfers between the TWO servers and they would have to monitor it, if it starts to get too crazy where one server is starting to get really depleted then lock the more populated server.
However this would require blizzard actually being responsible.

You can pay 25$ to move off Skyfury to any realm yes. I just doubled checked and it went all the way to payment. I have a baby toon there I abandoned after the queues became insane.
Look under store on your character screen, and select Skyfury 
Just reroll to there? You’re not even max level yet, and there’s 2 weeks before wotlk launch. I cant even count how many hours ive spent on characters I have abandoned due to queue times or dead servers since vanilla.
