I am torn on which to roll. I am planning on horde in anticipation a lot of baddies will go human for racial perk.

I’m going alliance personally, but I’ve seen a lot of players on discord say there going horde. It’s about a 50/50 split right now so I hope you like wpvp.

you mean people that are actually good at pvp will pick the correct faction for competitive arena? lol the whole “i go non meta means i’m good” crowd are delusional and pretty cringe.

considering it’s only prepatch yeah. Wrath launch might be another issue on it’s own but TBC launch went really smooth actually at least on Grobbulus.
Didn’t TBC prepatch not come up until like the next day?

I personally will bet that the servers will come up at some random time and a large number of people will sit in front of their computers hitting refresh for hours on end trying to get their names.
The TBCC prepatch last time took an extra 12 hours or something (1am Pacific the next day) with updates only ever 5 mins or so before each hour that they were delayed.
I honestly do hope the people rolling on fresh have fun. I’d do it if I hadn’t just done the fresh thing for SoM and if my TBCC characters weren’t already spread out between 3 servers.

We shall see, I hope not but I got tons of vacation for a week of prepatch and a week of wrath so I’m secured lol.
I plan to play Grobbulus as my side wpvp but going to main Skyfury if it retains good population. Gonna roll a savage orc prot warrior for some glorious PvE/Wpvp.

I am. My friends are too. The server better be US East though, considering we already have a balanced PvP server on US West. Not to mention whatever local server time is typically shapes raid-times.
Eh depends on the class really, with the removal of duplicate trinkets (using normal version and heroic version) Human racial isnt that great anymore. Most classes that would play human need the extra resil from the pvp trinket anyway or they are paper thin. Imo horde has the better racials for pvp this time around because of nerfs.

Also doesn’t help that most of the people who are rerolling human for the racial won’t even really be good enough for it to matter. If the past 3 years have shown me anything, everyone likes to minmax even though it won’t make any difference because their skill isn’t at the level where minmaxing makes a difference
