I was happy to see that Blizzard is adding updated high-res versions of the old Quel’Serrar as it’s a great looking weapon. I was even more happy to see that the new Skyborn blade in the trading post sheaths on the back–the sword is quite massive for a 1h sword and really does look better sheathed on the back. But the Whispering Temple blade has the same model but still sheathes on the hip which looks quite ridiculous. Which is unfortunate because I prefer the platinum color scheme for some of my characters. I know it’s been brought up before but this is another example of why 1h weapons really ought to have the option to sheath either on the back or on the hip.

Quoted, made larger and bolded for emphasis! If Monks can have 1h weapons on their back that mandatorily sheath at our side on other classes, then that means there isn’t some sort of animation issue. So let’s DEW IT!

Agreed.
Please make it so Whispering Temple Blade can be sheathed on the back!
I’d totally say for a Barbershop addition:
Weapon. Choose which way you wear your weapon or if you just hide it when it isn’t drawn.
But they’d also have to fix how a lot of off-hands sit on models since they either are upside down (like those Shadowlands vials) or float waaaay off of the model for no reason at all – don’t try mogging a book offhand to Dracthyr.
