Why is it, when you do a skirm and your partner doesn’t zone in for whatever reason, leaving you to fight solo vs 2 random players that Blizzard double punishes you by not allowing you to see the enemy composition?
It’s bad enough you have to fight a 1v2, but could they at least let you prepare properly for it? The funny thing is, the enemy team gets to see there is only one of you and what class… so they know… its just weird?
EDIT: Forgot to ask this as well… sometimes when I zone in (rarely) and the sides are matched 2v2, 3v3, etc. Sometimes it still doesn’t show me what the enemy comp is, forcing me to ask my teammates what we’re fighting. Is that an issule with Gladius (its updated of course). Or has someone else noticed this without Arena frames and it’s a blizzard bug?

Pretty sure it’s just due to blizzard trying to force the game through even without the full roster available.
As for not showing the enemy comp, prob just a UI issue on your end.
It’s been a thing for a long time when you don’t get a partner.
Doesn’t ever tell you what it is. Last time I brought it up someone suggested it might be to avoid trying to avoid certain teams since that’s what happens in reg arenas too.
As for OP I’m still not sure why arena and skirms hasn’t gotten the bgb and shuffle experience with making all people confirm before even zoning people in

I think it’s to prevent/curb boosting (obv doesn’t matter in skirmishes, but it carries over).
Let’s say you’re selling rating boosts:
-queue up
-you take the queue because you don’t care about your rating
-see it’s a countercomp
-“don’t accept queue”
-lose game (remember, you don’t care about your rating in this scenario), your partner however doesn’t lose any rating
-queue up
-get a favourable matchup
-“ok join the game”
-rinse/repeat

I could basically see that
