Skip Strat player types need their own LFG queue

Title. As a person that has a playstyle whenever going in dungeons regardless of role i like to do all content possible in routes that were originally designed for a given dungeon.

However it seems as of late since the allowance of classic dungeons being part of timewalking now, people will just zerg to end and do as minimal as possible just to requeue again as if EXP from completing the LFG dungeon for that run is/was more important than doing all of that dungeons bosses/side bosses and extra content. Dungeons like diremaul gardens, rather than go around like one is supposed to, people just jump off the ledge at the start and go to 2nd boss then 3rd and cut back again to final just to requeue.

People who feel the need to zerg to end just to requeue need their own LFG queue system. you already have the tech for this when yall added xp off only battlegrounds for pvp types. those that had their exp bars turned off got put into a seperate queue system from other people who pvped via bg’s. Same context can be used here during timewalking event seasons.

Ive noticed ive been VTK’d constantly in groups for doing extras along with being trash talked by some simply for doing the dungeon as its intended rather than skipping as much as possible as if thats somehow problematic. its like if you dont cater and comply to the boosters that are potentially in your pug youre seen as a kink in their machine of cogwheels and they vtk like its a weapon to freely fire and abuse…

  1. Have you considered communicating with the group? That’s the solution 99 times out of 100.

There is no abusing the vote to kick system. Anyone can be removed for any reason with a majority or unanimous vote, depending on if some were there as a premade.

They should just add slow mode. XIV style linear dungeons where all mobs need to die before you can move onto the next hallway. People still do what they do and try to blast through as fast as possible. But there’s no skips.

Sounds like you’re the one that needs your own LFG queue.

That’s because it is.

You’re wasting their time and slowing their xp and they didn’t want you to do that so they removed you. It took a majority vote, which means you’re in the minority, especially if it’s happening often. QED, you’re the one that’s out of touch and needs your own queue.

It’s like if you’re not going to do what’s best for the group the group is going to properly use the tools available to them to remove the part that’s fighting against them.

No one tell him of the 1 trash pack then clear dire maul skip.

You have to pause from hitting instance cap but you can gain roughly 30 levels in half an hour. Last ten in half an hour too.

Or, here is something radical, type something to the group and ask if they can do all bosses.

I am the guy who generally runs through the content as quick as possible skipping as much as I can, yet the other day I had someone actually say something in a dungeon and ask if we can do all the bosses. And we did.

It’s not hard to ask the question to the tank if they can do more than just bare minimum.

Doing every boss is a total waste of time. They offer little to not reward for the effort. If Blizz wants people to full clear the very large, boss filled dungeons of Classic they need to either make every boss mandatory, or offer DOUBLE bonus XP at the end of the dungeon for killing all bonus objectives. IMO getting double the reward for the side bosses would get lots of people doing them.

its tw, everyone’s in it for fast xp and tw tokens and the best way to do it is just rush to the end

if u wanna slowly pick off every mob in the dug then do it with a premade group

Sounds like you need your own queue. Have you considered forming your own groups? Might be easier than hoping 4 random players want to do a dungeon your way.

Yep, for tw it’s mostly a balancing problem.

I do remember there was a period during SL(or BFA?) TW trashes hit like trucks, but tbh that’s still manageable compared to their live versions in 2007 or so, means as long as you don’t pull whole room you won’t get your butt kicked.
But sadly those skipping pigs keep pulling every thing/doing high risk skips until their grp get demolished, then complaining and blaming their teammates as usual.

Or for M+s, MDI usually duplicates similar kind of those wannabe idiots, tons of them, then send those sh!ts to plague pugs after it concludes.

Have you considered that you’re in the minority on that viewpoint? My guess would be that most people doing time-walking are there for the EXP since they already experienced all the “bosses/side bosses and extra content” when these dungeons were current content. If those things don’t prevent EXP, then there’s no point for those players to do them. If that’s a majority then your concern is a minority issue.

Always try to consider other viewpoints, and what the likely majority is, before asserting “XYZ needs to be changed.” Don’t fall prey to confirmation bias where you think your experience simply MUST BE the majority viewpoint (because that’s pretty small-minded and you’re probably better than that if you just think a bit more on it).

That’s their right to kick you. You can always group up with people in your guild/buddies/overall server group n clear it all with them.

Whats really funny is the vast majority of my dungeons, I do all the extras and no one ever has a problem with it :joy:

I also move with a purpose, big pulls. Pull groups on top of bosses if I can.
People really only care if you don’t communicate.

The only complain I have about classic timewalking is the scaling of that flamestrike in deadmines. WOW does that do a ton of damage, I am guessing this is not intended or just not balanced correctly.

The thorns on one of DM’s bosses is ridiculous with its scaling.

did you recently get vkicked as a blood dk in startholme main gate- right at the last boss which was balnazzar perchance.

I’ve just been MDing the passed bosses to the tank. Just for giggles. Haven’t been kicked yet.

The satyr boss. His thorns make me unalive myself when I dps :joy:
I learned not to do my full opener on my rogue. Assassination burst + thorns = you die in less than 5 seconds.
