Skinny Kul Tirans

I’d love to be able to make a skinny Kul’tiran. The female version can be the hag form (with hunchback or without).

They’d make amazing Defias Rogues.

The best thing Blizzard could do is give each race different body shapes to choose from and advance the game choices. But no, they give us more races and take the cheap way out using existing models.

Personally I think that Blizzard is throwing everything at us that is easy and cheap to satisfy the people who whine about not having enough content over the years.

Alterac Humans for the Horde!

Yeah, and there are ways to make this work without breaking the race lore. For example, while there are no fat elves, you can edit muscle mass and height. While there are no skinny dwarves, you can edit how bulky they are, and their height up to a certain point, so they are not as short as a Gnome or as tall as a Human, etc.

Character sliders aren’t really feasible for WoW.

To be fair, expanding the hard-coded Backpack was totally impossible until Blizzard actually tried and discovered that it wasn’t.

Now we have extra 4 bag slots.

worgen shows this somewhat workable an idea. You see both in creation setup to pick a face/hair share and liked for both.

So for at least KT it could be the default “power lifter” on upfront screen, select the skinny tab and off you go after a name given.

Basically it be worgen creation start and that second option could never be seen again. Or like worgen…you actually can’t be wolf till you are bitten. Make putting on weight a barber shop options maybe?

Seem to recall a vid showing how at one point using game glitches you could break out of gilneas NOT having werewolf unlocked even lol.

WoW: begins with skinny humans
Years later BFA: get bulky humans
Players: But we wanted skinny humans

It was never impossible. It was just difficult and not a high priority. Their first attempt to expand the backpack turned out rather poorly in testing (it didn’t play well with currencies, as I recall). I’d imagine they had to go through some serious shenanigans to make it actually work.

The same would likely be true for body sliders. They’re certainly possible but doing it part by part without introducing (more) weird clipping/stretching would be the issue.

I’d say increasing your backpack size 4 slots is about 10000x easier than reworking every model to work with sliders, and then having armor drops also work with it.

The difference in work is like changing the steering wheel cover in your car, vs replacing the engine.

They have skinny Kul Tirans. They’re called Humans.

They want to play humans and be druids. Maybe shaman is the core problem. That why these threads keep popping up. If they were honest about it. Then maybe they might get it.

Me personally KT should never be shamans or druids. I read the lore on it and it half baked. The tide walkers from the video seen and in-game look like a specialized mage. Much like Jaina. Instead of Ice, it is water.

What they should have done. Is made them Drust. Since no one knows what it official looks like. It should have added flavor in the game.

Well that my opinion.

Here is the deal.

Some want British speaking accents. Humans speak 'Murican.

KT also have what could be interesting lore. You can RP a drustvarian. Or one of the other 2.

Also as many have said…they have always been the 3rd human race who has always been skinny. Till BFA. Jaina is famed for her magic ability. Not once, ever, has she been famed for her record breaking deadlifts and squats.

we have the gilneans to be different. But they basically drop to wolf form for just about everything they do. So to keep a human appearance you press that change button. A lot…

edit: now if blizzard could give some ability, maybe even a glyph, gilneans can stay in human form all the time this stuff could die. We’d have our British speaking human chars to play.

Should be easy to do this. I know I like my glyph for druid that has me go ethereal looking. So that I never have to see the bear owl, (owl bowl, wtf ever it is) junk, imo, that is moonkin form.

You know, I would’ve thought since tall, skinny Kul Tiran guards exist that they would’ve been an option on the playable race. I don’t know…just seems like Blizz, time and time again, gives us the bare minimum when it comes to customizing our characters.

Oh boy, a skinny Kul Tiran thread, been at least three months since I last saw one of those.

Short answer, the skinny Kul Tiran model only exists for males and uses the female undead rig. It is not meant to be a cosmetic option for player Kul Tirans, and it’s unlikely for a race to ever get an entirely separate model as a cosmetic option in the future (worgen don’t count, as they can’t maintain their human form in combat).

Chonky boi meme didnt translate well.

What? No. I’m happy with my fat Kul Tiran druid. Hes fine the way he is. I want a skinny Kul Tiran rogue.

Stop assuming the worst out of people.

Only if your character is killed by the guards every time they show up in a city.

Who assuming. It been stated a few time on forums. It would seem you assume something also.
