Hi, like the title said my skinning spec window looks like this, with really low rez images, and none of the buttons actually do anything. There also appears to be no option to close the window (not even escape works) other than opening another window, such as my talents.
No addons running. I tried /reload ui and then rebooting the whole client but the issue persists?

Good news and bad news bud. I had this issue and fixed it. I had to drop skinning and relearn it. After that no problem.

I’m reluctant to do that because I’m a pattern collector and I have too many legion skillups, but thank you, that’s good to know!
I’m having this exact same issue and it has been driving me nuts!
I’ve now completely uninstalled WoW (deleting all leftover folders and registry entries) AND uninstalled Bnet twice and it’s the same issue. I wish that I’d found this thread earlier…
As much as I don’t want to drop skinning and pick it back up, if it will get the journal to work again I suppose it is worth it since there is no telling how long it will take for this bug to be resolved without needing to do so.
Thank you for the possible solution Spyroxd, and please let me know if it worked for you Iskierkaa.
Thanks
i logged on today and problem appeared to have fixed itself. i assume there was a small fix pushed over last night so if you check again you should be able to specialise your skinning without needing to drop your profession!
Thank you for the update. Unfortunately, I had already dropped and relearned the profession (which worked, btw)…ugh.
Exact same issue but LW. Not trying to lose all my old recipes over a bug
I’m having the same issue as well right now, no addons and /reload seems to do something different every time. I’m noticing it has a tendency to open the Leather working specs page? And it shows me that same crap page when it doesn’t default to the LW page. Figure it out Blizz.
Absolutely unacceptable way to ‘fix’.
Bump.
I’m experiencing the same issue. Every time I open up Skinning Journal, it just shows everything from Leatherworking.
I know this is a small company with limited resources but I would really like to be able to play the game without dropping then relearning (and releveling) the profession I’ve been using since Burning Crusade.
