why do i have to skin 3 or more orange levels in order to increase my skinning by 1 level now that i am level 300?
mining profession doesn’t work that way, for each orange node and you level up 1 point.
Because that’s how skinning works.

Skinning is still the most easily maxed out crafting skill, since you can kill/skin a load of mobs faster than you can mine/herb from one node to the next (especially with all the node farmers flying around on epic mounts grabbing every node as fast as they spawn).
