I am in a group with one other person. When this person loots a corpse, then I try to skin it. It sometimes gives me a loot cursor rather than a skinning cursor. It says “Someone else is already looting this corpse”. It doesn’t do this every time but seems to be sporadic. The other person is a warlock with imp or voidwalker.
Are you using free for all loot? My friend and I ran into this issue last night, when he switched it back to group loot the issue went away.
Yes we were. We’ll try group loot but it should work in free for all imo.

Having the same issue. Will try Group Loot as a bypass to the bug.
Same thing in ffa loot plz fix 
This was something I had problems with back during beta stress testing. I dont know of any work around other than not partying with someone if you want to skin everything. Seems to happen with creatures that drop quest items for one of you.
