First 5 games today and 2 of them had at least one player in full elite gear in 2v2 1400. Really, really enjoying this /s

Why should I be fighting better people at a low rating?
Elite Gear is only 1800, they could have got it from 3v3 or RBGs which would mean they’re 2v2 Rating is the same or below yours while they rank up or the person they are queing with is well below their partner at 1800 which would put the teams MMR closer to 1400-1500.
I wouldn’t call people with that set ‘skilled’, you don’t lose much rating if any till you’re passed 1800.
Well, they may not be better. Regardless if they have the transmog or not,they could have either been carried, or are now carrying someone. Either way, it’s more likely the mmr you’re up against is fine. It’s very difficult for people to 2v1 these days. More so than in the past anyway. If someone is at least 1800 and you’re only 1400, they’re likely with someone much lower.
Also, is your cr or mmr 1400? You could be on a win streak and just happened to raise your mmr.
Yea that’s just not true at all. The grind from 1500-1800 is a win 13 and lose 10 type of grind. It takes forever

Elite mogs are account wide and not class specific
So yeah if someone unlocks it on their main you might q into their alt at 1400
