For real. I have always spat on the Forsaken, but to be able to play a straight up skeleton… I may just reconsider my position.

Since the China market fell through, no more rules on dont show bones! Also I want a third arm that can reach my behind so I can scratch it.

I honestly have always belive that the Forsaken should have more undead visual type of options than the Zombie type look as native to Lorderon…so much has happend since then. They already allied and in direct contact with the Shadowlands and Maldraxxus (where they lore state that you can chose the body you want your soul to inhabit) And if the lore restricts it to the Shadowlands Blizz can always create new lore for it as they always do.
This would be a great start! I seen even Tauren skeleton models in game, so I belive with a bit of work it could happen. (IMO)
there were new, clean, polished skeletons added for every playable race in WOD and they didn’t really use them which I thought was an absolute travesty. Imagine any of those new skeletons being a body type when you pick Forsaken and go through the customization options.
I’d be a human skele for the upright posture and still plenty believable dead Lordaeron dude.
