bodysliders in dragonflight blizz then i might think about buying it.
Not something you can just easily add. Basically requires a complete redo of how all models and armor work in the entire game, built from the ground up.
See you in DF.
So you’re not buying Dragonflight.
You’re buying it, if not already have it. At the very least you still have an active account.
If you just want to see wow characters with huge bazongas, I promise there is a world of fan art out there just waiting for you.
That animation makes me want to find a Dave & Busters and play some BurgerTime.
WOW and Second Life started at about the same time. Then a few years later Linden Labs did a complete rewrite of how the Second Lif toons are done changing from “classic” (the old toons) to “mesh” (the new system).
Of course Linden Labs doesn’t have to worry about creating new content. In Second Life that’s the “members” job (i.e. We the players). If Blizzard were to undertake such a major over hall it would probably mean two years without an expansion.
They have food and potions in game that change the size of the entire character model.
Adding a size adjustment to do the same at creation shouldn’t be that much of a stretch.
quit making excuses for why blizz shouldn’t do them. they got the biggest mmo staff out there i don’t wanna hear it ain’t easy to do they can barely keep up or do fall behind on even putting content out compared to other mmo’s do it blizz.
But unless I am mistaken. The way that works is by just increasing the over all size of the model, while keeping it proportionately the same.
Which is completely different than allowing specific areas of the model to change, and then how armor works in WoW…it also now being effected.
Sigh, and all these years I’m trying to tell people it doesn’t… And you go and ruin it.
But as a business. Why should they do it?
Will it increase their profits in relation to how much money they’d have to throw at it?
No.
Exactly. If they were to enable something like this, then an effect like the potions would be the least difficult way, and wouldn’t require any armor adjustments.
I wouldn’t expect to see individual body part sliders, but an overall size slider should be do-able.
Not those, In the rear with the gear!
That would look really janky and unnatural.
I am fairly certain when people ask for sliders, they are not generally asking for a 1 size fits all single slider that only increases the size of your character and keeps everything else the same.
Generally speaking, sliders in character creation allows for a variety of customization options.
Just the name itself (imho) tells a difference. Sliders. Plural.
No more than seeing someone now use a giant growth potion or the seesaw.
I’m just saying it would be the simplest way and least likely to break anything else.
Sure but if you see someone with an obvious modifier on it’s supposed to look unnatural.
Having giant gnomes standing next to tiny night elves and that’s just how their characters look, with weird proportions, would look very jank.
