Six weeks timegating on flying in the Siren Isle

And a few more you haven’t listed. Yet, we’ve survived just fine. There’s nothing wrong with more zones like those so long as they don’t become the majority.

I thought I would go back and finish it. But after I got flying I never went back. It was the only zone in BfA I never went back to. Must be I didn’t like it enough to care.

I’m not complaining. It gives me an excuse to opt out.

We do survive just fine, either way. In this case, we will get flight back in 6 weeks and it will not be the loot pinata that Timeless Isle was.

FYI the new island is like Hallowfall it goes back and forth between a ‘calm’ and a ‘stormy’ version and you can’t fly while in the ‘stormy’ version even if you have flying unlocked.

Now see that’s a rational response

I will likely go check it out just to see it, and like most content, be back in 4 years when it is empty, and easy.

There’s nothing for them to learn from the people who are done before six weeks. Obviously it was not an issue for them. As for the others, once six weeks go by and flying is available, what would prevent them from playing?

people need to make up their minds

do they like dragonflying or do they like ground only? nothings stopping you from staying grounded forever if you want. you want blizz to make everyone suffer huh? because you’re a masochist.

What a ridiculous take. Just because people finished it doesn’t mean they enjoyed it or that it wasn’t problematic. On the contrary it’s far more likely that those who rushed through it did not like it and wanted to be out of there as quickly as possible. If they didn’t have carrot-on-stick type rewards in these places the only people who would bother with them would be completionists and that rarefied breed of WoW player who insist that Blizzard have never put out anything bad, lol.

There are not only two possible options:

  1. Dragoriding only;
  2. Ground mounts only.

They keep trying to replicate timeless isle and fail :joy:

Aren’t patches coming quicker than anyone recently?

Siren Isle is exactly like Forbidden Reach.

A good time to let your subscription lapse and try other games.

If you sweat it up to unlock flying, you’ll have a couple days to fly before 11.1 puts siren isle in the dustbin of forgettable content.

Yep. Only much smaller. Because Siren Isle is the size of Dornogal. lol

It’s literally an unused Island Expedition map.

For comparison, this is Isle of Dorn, with Forbidden Reach on top of it and the outlined yellow area in the middle is how big Siren Isle is:

And here’s Siren Isle on top of Dornogal:

It’s also a little smaller than Mechagon:

6 weeks is not that long of time. I would prefer it be there right from the start but if you don’t spend all day in the game it’ll speed by fast.

Thanks for this post, it makes me less worried about being stuck on the ground seeing what size it looks like. I hope it’s not awful, I’ve been really enjoying this expansion so far.

Well that’s your *** OPINION *** on how people who finish quickly feel and you are certainly entitled to it. That being said, you don’t have a shred of actual evidence to back up that statement. Fact is we have no idea how the majority of people who finish before six weeks feel.

Guys it’s a small bloody island you don’t even need flying i’m so sick of these WAAAAAAAA NO FLYING THE MOMENT I GET TO A PLACE WAAAAAAAAA people seriously the island is so damn small it’s going to be a non issue chill and try things before you speak is flying great yeah it is but having a few areas where you can’t fly isn’t going to kill you or hurt you.

We would’ve liked it more without all the gnomes.
