Incorrect. Which is why I asked for a defined answer. “I googled it and it told me” isn’t the correct answer because I did and I also got “WoW is now just an mmo” so that’s not the victory you thought it was.
“I don’t understand you, so you’re trolling!”
Geez, life must be pretty hard for you, huh?
My god… it’s like you refuse to read.
Explain to me WHY you asked what you can Google and WHY you agreed with this WHEN I SAID THE EXACT SAME THING ON THIS SUBJECT:
It’s a filler patch, not a main content patch. Story will unlock on a weekly basis.
I’m at a complete loss with this one. They literally agreed with what I said. And now they’re on some weird tangent with NO POINT to it.
What is even going on?
I guess they should just work on main patches instead of these luke warm watered down bland mini patches.
It’s a filler patch, what else do you expect?
I’ll cut to the chase instead of splitting hairs and leading you down a trail. Here.
I didn’t know there was such thing as a “filler patch” until just now.
What’s the point? Just make a real patch with real content.
Either they add something and people complain it’s not enough, or they add nothing and people complain they’re not adding anything. They’re choosing to add a bit of content rather than none.
So people defend them when the release something like this and brow beat everyone who says it’s lazy.
Nah, it’s a bit more. If they don’t release anything, people complain and it’s widely considered beyond valid. If they release the most lazy dribble of crap an army of drones defend them in the forums and attack people who call it out as the lazy dribble it is.
Nah, it’s definitely people not really understanding that every hour of consumed content is hundreds of hours of development time and that dungeons released in WoW years ago were so beyond simple that they’re braindead and content like that doesn’t fly anymore and people require more, and more and more.
If you think it’s so bad and you don’t care about the story at all, the reason why it’s a catch-up isle is so you don’t feel like you have to do it. Just play another game while you wait for the next big patch to drop, or do something else.
I’m playing other games in my backlog, I ain’t stressed.
They should have just added nothing and not wasted their time on this. Instead put that effort into an actual patch with actual content.
Whoooh, lets not bring story into this. That’s a dog turd that’s been lit on fire then a cat peed the flames out.
However, that’s the point. The only sane thing to do right now is play other games. That’s the problem.
I really wish that they would just retcon everything from Legion to Current wow out of the game entirely.
The damage that was done especially with Shadowlands is irreparable and beyond measure. The writer for this was 100% doing some sort of sabotage to the franchise/IP. There’s no way someone can come up with this stuff and be serious and sincere with it… “God” is a robot handsome squidward? We’re all just machines/robots and the afterlife is a weird machine playground but then there are infinite numbers of them and the Maw is a thing? Like… what?
So you want zero content until February or March?
Yes. Because it’s a .7 patch that usually doesn’t even add content at all. But this patch also adds Turbulent Time ways, Plunderstorm and another questline that isn’t finished yet to be released in a few weeks.
It was also time gated due to the ring and how once we’re done with it, has the potential to cheese the current content, which they don’t want to see happen until much closer to the end of the season.
I’ve explained every part of this. Timegating is necessary in sub based MMOs for the health and longevity of the game, along with marketing and player retention.
To which a reply was given about PoE which is not a sub based MMO. Nor even an MMORPG to compare with timegating.
So your entire point in asking to define MMORPG was to say this… when I literally said twice:
You don’t like the expansion. We get it. That’s fine.
You got into an argument with me without even reading conversations or comprehending what was said. I’m not the one in here claiming people should be happy. I literally said everyone is going to feel differently about this content.
What I did do was give information on why it’s timegated. To which you agreed with.
Yet still chose to troll.
I have no words for that.
Who said I didn’t like the expansion? Also it was going to be a “we get there when we get there”. Also the issue is that there’s free games that do it better and we’re not paying for it. This .7 is awful because it realistically adds nothing but it makes drones attack people who voice their issues with it.
