Current WoW is more similar to Lost Ark or Warframe than it is to real World of Warcraft. It’s crazy how much different it has become, it’s not even the same genre of game anymore. But I digress, that is an issue of its own that will never be rectified.
Resorting to more childish behavior, eh? What episode would that be? And why is it that the moment anyone points out bad behavior, y’all troll with nonsense like this?
No one cares enough about your silly comments to have a reaction whatsoever. All this type of behavior does is showcase your own toxicity.
Show me where I’ve made anything up. Please quote for me what was made up.
Please quote for me what isn’t “grounded in reality.”
Ah. So you’ll just throw a tantrum and not have a conversation. Got it.
It isn’t. And Poe is NOT a sub based game. You still haven’t given any actual reason for your original ignorance trolling question.
It’s a tread mill where people chase a carrot on a stick in fear of not being relevant to some made up standard. You do it with friends? Doesn’t change what it is. At least be honest with yourself.
And I’m halfway through my 3rd playthrough of cyberpunk on a modded survival mode using no HUD. How is that relevant?
Hey I just finished probably my 10th save file on The Planet Crafter, is that any more relevant?
(obviously not, just joking to help make the point)
Yes it is, I just explained why.
Yeah that’s the point.
It’s almost like I was asking you to define what an mmorpg is to get to that point, and it’s almost like you not answering meant I wasn’t going to get there. Do you make it a habit of calling anyone you don’t understand a troll?
The number of people who forget that an MMO game needs to be profitable and/or refuse to accept that a company wants to make profit off a game is just astounding to me.
Obviously they want you to pay the sub. It’s how they afford the massive costs of running the servers, the infrastructure, and paying the bandwidth fees and electricity costs.
So they would obviously design the game to keep you playing.
That’s like walking into a car dealership and going “Ohmaigawd they want me to PAY for these cars!?”
Or walking into a grocery store and going “WTF you want me to pay $2 for a pepsi you bought off of pepsi for $1!?”
METEOR SHOWER!
made your heart rate jump
Eh, I stay indoors when those happen except for the ones I set off myself.
EDIT: Jeez, 16min for healer random heroic queue… /sigh I just want to finish my disc weekly and/or get the 8 heroics done for the vault. Might have to dig up 10 wax and do 6 timewalking instead lol
More mog stuff is good, but all we got was lazy recolors and ugly stuff
The thing about recolors is maybe some people LIKE one of the new colors and they didn’t like the old ones?
Maybe if there’s a pink dragon and I don’t want a pink dragon and the new content offers a blue one and I’d really rather have blue?
EDIT: That and collectors don’t care. # goes higher.
Sure, but if it’s ugly, what does the color matter?
Ugly in your opinion. Maybe there are people out there who like the mounts.
I think most of the Tier 2 armor was ugly, but people praise it.
I wasn’t talking about mounts, if you re read my comment I was talking about mogs
Same still applies.
Agreed.
The issue that we’re having is when someone is making off brand cola for free, however they make they money by letting to buy all sorts of doodads to put on the bottle that doesn’t affect the flavor.
However, in our same analogy, we have someone who is releasing ‘name brand’ cola, Expecting you to pay for the bottle, and then charging you for them to fill it only the quarter of the way each time you stop in. These same people are also charging doodads to decorate your bottle.
or to spell things out I’ll take what I wrote in a different thread

There’s a lot of people feeling the content drought right now. Many people are looking for a reason to log in. Then there’s been a small amount of hype around these isles as if there is something to do to tide those subscribed over until the next major patch. Then there’s this that offers an hour and a half worth of content to do each week until the next patch.
An hour and a half, or to put this into monthly perspectives, 6 hours a month of something new to do. That’s literally it. This is a pay to play mmorpg, not a free to play one. People are expecting a little more. To look at it from another angle, with the cost of subs we can effectively buy a AAA game every 4 months for the same price (and not even counting the cost of the initial expansion drop). Then there’s AA games that are just as good that we can get at the 1-3 month mark with sub cost taken into account, and even free to play games that people have been playing for years now that cost nothing.
So yes, it’s a pretty valid thing to go ‘this is it?’ when we’ve been given next to nothing and we’re paying for it.
Not really, how many variations of the pirate and beach theme do we really need?
You’re not making any sense.
Do I need to go back and quote the conversation you butted into with your trolling?
Either say what you want to say or go troll somewhere else.
You literally agreed with someone who said the same thing I did:
Incorrect. Wow is an mmorpg. No “a”.
This tells me you completely ignored what I said. About both.
And if you actually used google, you’d find this to be true in 2 seconds.
That’s not how that work.
Just because you want to be disingenuous and redefine things based off your own opinion, doesn’t make it true.
Wow is still VERY heavy in the RP aspects.
It’s not even comparable to the action of PoE or diablo.
I’ll tell you whats a terrible content. Antartica. It’s nearly useless and allegedly a hiding spot for underground WWII refugee Germans, and up to two alien species.
aweful.
Next would be the base on the back side of our hollow moon.
Antarctica is amazing, one of the best! Its icy waters dictate weather patterns across the world! And they didn’t escape to Antartcica, they simply used the portal at the south pole to go to Angartha.
Also, the moon isn’t hollow it’s solid - and is made of cheese. Some say provolone, some say cheddar, but the mystery will never be uncovered.
