Did the quest for the underwater breathing/speed. works on 2 alts so far but not on my lock. Any one else have this happen?

My alts are having to do the Dipping the Toe quest, not only for the buff, but the ring upgrader.

Same here… question is if it’s intended or if it’s a bug. But given the fact that the first upgrade was completely free, I don’t expect it’s intended.
3 toons now did not receive the quest reward
I am seriously getting pissed. the last gem legendary something something should come from that stupid bugfest event, but it only gives caches now. after killing the lil turd for over 15 times I got the fathom thingy, now this.
Am I missing anything?
It didn’t work for me either. I only did it on one toon so far though.
After you got the gem on one character, you can buy them on your alts at the vendors.
yeah, but the thing is the gem is not available at all.
from fathom it jumped to the caches, missing the last legendary bla bla gem.
The events went to offering caches only after I got their respective gems on my main last week. As I’ve already collected them, I have no way to check if something is different this week. Are you sure you didn’t collect the fathom on any toon last week?
Yup, all should be available, but the last gem is mia, Idk.
The skipper gem can be purchased from the turtle vendor. However, there’s a bug that currently it doesn’t give credit for the citrine achievement, if that’s your concern.
People suspect the achievement will trigger when we get the gem through the originally intended means maybe next week.
Ok, I will check the turtle again. It was not there earlier.

The Fathom gem for my alts wasn’t on the turtle vendor. It was on the earthen vendor, Angorla.
I did, just now on my mage … then I equipped the ring … I was that person!
