If you die during the fight, unless someone rezzes you, it’s not possible to loot the boss. The Release point is at the start of the instance. To get to the boss, you have to jump down the hole that’s created at the end of Phase 1. It’s a long drop and you die when you hit bottom. I wish they would change the release spawn point.
Yeah, yeah, I know if you just leave you get your loot in the mail. It still ought to be fixed.
Do healers in LFR or pug raids not rez after fights?

The point is they need to change the release spawn point. And sometimes in LFR, everyone just leaves.

But the release spawn point is for the instance, not per boss. Die to any boss, you respawn at the start. They’d have to make Sire’s area “separate” like they did for Carapace or N’Zoth, so it has its own release area. The way CN is now, it’s all one large area with no actual “breaks” like Ny’alotha had.

Looting the boss shouldn’t be reliant on the healers taking pity on you.
Oh, I’ve dropped down that hole and didn’t die before, not sure if maybe there’s an aura buff that prevents the death or not, but I’ve definitely seen myself and other drop down it fine
Every time I’ve jumped down after releasing I’ve just gone splat.
Maybe I’m just cursed.
Dunno, would need to test it on my end, cause i wasn’t exactly paying attention when it happened, for all I know I coulda did something that kept me from dying like somebody slow falling or something
heroic leap before you hit the bottom.
The Postmaster will send you your loot.
If you’re on your warrior you should be using heroic leap to land safely without taking fall damage.
Yeah, I also haven’t done Denathrius in a couple weeks cause I got the ring so I don’t need to, so maybe they fixed it?
Next week when we do our heroic run I’ll test it out. Or more than likely I’ll just forget.

You can use heroic leap not to die to fall damage.
Or bubble.
Or DH wings.
Or levitate.
Or slow fall.
Or disengage.

There’s a featherfall toy in every xpac since Legion. It’s called Hearty Dragon Plume in Shadowlands.
OFC I don’t think it works inside raids.
