disagree the ‘new’ hunter gun sound affect is complete dumpster fire. its not even how a real gun sounds. it’s a blow dart sound effect. do the devs even know what a gun sounds like? i don’t even mog to guns anymore its so bad. either that or it shares the bow sound effect.
At least that one is only usable on low HP targets and has a CD

Well, as an elf player I cannot be bothered to ever use a gun for any reason so I have no clue, but Kill Shot… Sounds wet. Maybe like a wet sponge being flung at something? I just turn up the music so I dont hear it very often, but there is something moist going on there.

I also transmogged my gun into the Supervolt Zapper, so I get a lovely pew pew sound, for those of you who don’t like the regular gun sound.
i wish there was a way to get the old sound back.
so basically you want to listen to blow darts. because i’ve heard ACTUAL guns go off and they sound NOTHING like that. gonna go to bed now cause im getting cranky.

I assume players complained about the original sound, so maybe complaining enough now will make them change it again.

Try DK, where their attacks sound like gusts of air. It’s a terrible match for an implacable death machine.
actually that was the exact reason they changed it. the wod sound effect and skeleton and character appearance changes were a flaming trainwreck that crashed into a 24 car pileup full of baby blood elves. the blood elves have this look like they stepped in a pile of dog poop. the draenei have a good look i think with their duck face dance. the night elves lost their awesome racial animations.
