I looted the “Hallowed Helm” and added it to my appearance, but noticed it didn’t go towards my achievement progress (this was a few days ago) and I just now looted the “Sinister Squashling” which did go towards my achievement progress, but the helm is still greyed out? I looted both items on this character.

I’m the same. I’m not sure when I looted the Hallowed Helm (I can transmog it) and I had the Sinister Squashling already from last year.

yes is exactly this for me too, i alredy have 4 sinister squashling and the helm transmog and the achievement only counts for the pet

I am here to add my voice to the pile, and also that I’ve been through four separate Gamemaster’s responses to my ticket, telling me to “check WoWhead” or “read the Sinister Calling” support form. To summarize:
- Received Sinister Squashling in 2010 from Tricky Treats
- Began playing again in 2024.
- Received and learned Sinister Squashling on my main, Radimir-Eldre’Thalas
- Received and learned Hallowed Helm on my main, Radimir-Eldre’Thalas
- Achievement not marked as completed
- Check on all my other characters to see, submit ticket
- Ticket submitted, repeatedly told I have to both on same character, I did
- Second ticket, with pictures submitted, told the Hallowed Helm was “deleted” on Radimir
- Told to make a bug report - Blizzard please fix this

Will also add, the Hallowed Helm won’t drop with it in appearances, so that makes this extra frustrating.
