I like Wow, been plying since vanilla. But I never liked grouping except for PVP. I unsubscribed a few months ago and Ive been playing D2R offline single player to avoid ladder resets. I really enjoy being able to set the game to 8 players and its only me etc. I enjoyed WoW most when I was on a empty server. When you merged servers and crowded us up I began to be disinterested. Games are an escape for me and many others. Life is crowded and full of social drama. Its nice to game in peace and quiet. With todays AI. I see no reason we cant have single player WoW. Lets still have progression. Just add AI toons to raids and dungeons. Instant queue and no offensive players. My own world. As you get gear up so do the AI bot toons for grouping. Id pay 20 bucks a month to reroll on my own personal server. And please people don’t post “Go play this game instead”. I want WoW like this please. Make it so, Number One. Thank you
Just responding to the title… WoW is an MMORPG which is Massively Multi-Player Online Role-Playing Game.
Multi-player is a core part of it’s design vision, so asking for Single Player seems kind of like a day late for Sunday Troll™.
Edit: If you’re actually serious, then you want a successor to WC3 (like WC4?), not a single-player version of WoW.
if you mean while its online, I dont see that happening.
what Id like is a sub $300 version of the game that is for offline play where I buy it once and done and can play here on my local machine and never have to deal with players again.
Not interested in changing any ones game. Was just asking for a Single Player option.
ok you get the wish but the SP items can not move over to MP or vise versa
I too have a disdain for other people. I agree 100%. Let’s get it done Blizz!
The game you want, is Skyrim.
You can just go n do content by yourself.
You’re welcome.
No I think they are asking for WoW single player. Not Skyrim.
I have a real chance to reach class 3 and sun this year and I have to go to the hospital and get a few more days of the week off so I will try to find out where to where you are in a way that you can get it
with the right mods it can be
Social drama is considered an important part of WoW. This is by design. It’s supposed to be good for you, essentially therapeutic to learn to deal with people who are, shall we say, like that.
Hosting your own pirate private server is the closest you are going to get.
All of you that need someone to hold your hand at all times will be ok, We would not all leave…maybe.
You have that right now. Just don’t talk to or interact with other players.
A single player warcraft universe rpg would be awesome. A different game though. This game would be a lot less fun solo, imo. But I can see the assets being used for something purely story driven
Like if there was a single player warcraft RPG I could see that being fun and interesting to play through.
It would also need to be a completely different game from WoW.
Why not want a single player offline version of WoW?
I mean, whenever i say i want a single-player offline version of Wow, i’m simply saying i want a game in the Warcraft franchise that plays EXACTLY like WoW in gameplay, content, lore, setting and so on, without the multi-player aspects, or needing to connect online in order to play and while playing. (I’m not talking about Skyrim btw.)
I don’t see myself wanting something like Warcraft 3 because the head click and zoom games is not for me. I usually find that overhead perspective stuff kind of uninvolved, unless it’s made by Maxis and are the big 3 games that begin with “S”.
And i doubt others who said “i want a SP offline version of WoW” wants the gameplay Warcraft 3 had either.
I’m waiting ,to see what people would say about this.lol.
WoW is already the most single player MMO there is. What you want is access to things you actually need a group for.
