Single-player games

If you have a PS4, Ghosts of Tsushima is excellent.

Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 & 2 contains loads of single player goodness.

Civ 5 is great, 6 has some flaws. If you are looking for another game of that type with interesting mechanics, look into Endless legend, or any of the Endless series.

Yes, there is a mod currently in development which ports fallout new vegas in fallout 4 engine.

So I thought I would give Old World a try. I’m about 5 minutes in, and I already feel like it’s $40 down the drain. I have no idea what to do. It might have the worst tutorial I have ever seen, if there even is a tutorial, I’m not really sure what’s going. I’m just clicking random buttons. It’s so unintuitive, it’s driving me crazy. Oh well.

FF7 Remake. Seriously this game felt like a warm hug for me.

Bloodborne is great too. I’ve yet to play it myself ( procrastinating ) but I LOVE watching people play. AND THE MUSIC

I’ve been playing Generation Zero. Kinda hard to get into but the guns sound so visceral. Once you get experimental guns game gets way more fun.

Been playing a lot of rts games lately myself. The Command & Conquer remasters are good now. Buggy when they first released, but they patched them up, and seem to be running good now.

Oh boy… this year theyll release baldurs gate 3, vampire the masquerade 2, cyberpunk 2077 and dragon age 4 (in 2022 :frowning: )

Civ 5 and 6 are way different than 4. I really enjoy 6 myself and have logged a ton of hours playing it solo or with friends. Another option if you are looking to relax would be minecraft.

Still grumpy apparently nosferatu aren’t in vampire masquerade 2. They might be put in later but hmmph.

Old World needs a lot of work, could have told ya that. :frowning:

they always save the coolest stuff as unplayable, like in wow we cant be blood trolls or in trek you cant play as a borg… sheesh.

I’m still trying to power through this learning curve. These options keep popping up, and I have no idea what I should be picking, so it’s just random choices. And then I can’t tell if I even made a choice at all, because nothing really happens. It’s very hokey.

If you have not reached the 2 hour mark they can refund you. Although I’m unsure where the problem is. The games controls are essentially the same as Civ’s so should be easy to pick up on. Only key difference is the you have a limited number of actions which is a shared resource amongst all your possible actions so you need to use them wisely. You can increase these actions by increasing your legitimacy level. Is there a certain part you are having a hard time understanding? There is some youtube tutorials. Keep in mind the game is early access so there may be some weirdness as they get it straightend out. If I didn’t mention that before, I apologize. although I think I did.

Bloodborne is the only PS4 game I have the plat trophy. Such an amazing game. I did 100% Sekiro on Steam though. I’d say Sekiro > Bloodborne but just ever so slightly. Both God tier games.

OP I’m sure its been recommended but if you’ve not played Witcher 3…do it. Best single player RPG made so far.

Warlock master of the Arcane.

Great game…until you figure out undead are just kinda broken

Just started playing the Mass Effect Trilogy again (my face is too tired for Andromeda atm).

Would be nice if Blizzard made single player games again…might make extra money to pay their empl…oh wait…
