Why does single minded fury even exist if there’s no plan to ever make it viable or good now that annihilator is gone the 30% auto attack dmg has no value to it anymore and with odyn’s fury being nerfed there’s no point in buffing auto attack dmg. We need the old SMF where it buffed slam dmg by 300% to at least make the talent a playable playstyle.

Honestly, I think the answer is two-fold. People have asked for it just to be in the game for years now (and complained when it was removed), but the reality is I just don’t think that Blizzard is going to bother going out of their way to give extra attention to tuning what is essentially a sub-specialization of Fury (that they already have issues tuning correctly).

I think they just need to make 2h weapons 1h transmoggable as fury. I wish so much for single minded fury to be a thing but it just never will be.

Honestly it feels like the balancing issue comes from the stat loss right now. I’ve always wanted SMF to be a viable option. That being said when you drop 2h for 1h you quite literally are losing thousands if not potentially tens of thousands of stat points, 2-3% haste and dmg increase isn’t going to save face for it. Needs a comparable buff (kinda like imagine having stoneskin gargoyle on each weapon, overall 12% stat boost) just a thought. I’ve spent way too much time hurt about not getting to use my 1 handlers lmfao
