Single-Button Assistant not available below level 10

I was setting up the game for my daughter to play with me and noticed that her character didn’t have the one-button macro available. After tinkering around I realize it is only available at level 10.

This is really just awareness for those that are about to do something similar but also a small suggestion for the Blizzard team to maybe add it initially to make things easier.

It’s probably alright to have it below level 10, but I guess their thinking is that they design it to follow a priority for a specific spec and characters level 1-9 don’t have specs yet so they don’t know what priority to have it follow, IMO just pick a random spec between the dps specs below level 10.

iirc a level 1 is going to have like 1 ability. maybe they just didn’t see the point.

but yeah, seems like blizz should just go ahead and have it at level 1 too.

(btw hope you and your daughter have fun!)

I feel like level 1 through 9 is one button already.

And if you’re a Survival Hunter… you get none, because your only ability at level 1 is Arcane Shot, which doesn’t work with a 2h weapon.

Thanks for posting this, I was doing the exact same thing and was a bit perplexed why it wasn’t showing up on my kid’s level 3 druid, lol.

My guess is that it’s probably spec-dependent under-the-hood (which makes sense, since each rotation is pretty different), and that’s why it probably doesn’t show up until level 10, when you’re given one for the first time.

you have like… 2-3 buttons before level 10, max. I think you’ll be ok

I wouldnt expect many to actually read this part, but just to make assumptions…

I understand where you’re coming from, but it’s literally just level 1-10. You barely need to push more than one button anyway
